For some reason I assumed the callsign was the plane, not the pilot... but it IS the pilot int he US air force, isn't it?

At any rate, ont he EXPERIMENTAl jet, please note that its 'experimental' part seems to have been a system able to detect the movements of submarines beneath the ice. (It's the system she was testign when shot down, and it's completely dictional- thus the HUGE stink over its theft- that kinds of thing woudl be a MAJOR fan-shitter during the cold war.) -Derik 05:45, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I think that Guard One may infact be Daina aka Vorona, as she's the only female in the Oktober Guard.

I note that the Joepedia article on Daina says she was born in Czechoslovakia (or "[Ciech]" in G1-cartoon maps), and served in their armed forces. Not a big deal in the timeframe , considering the Oktober Guard probably drew from all over the Warsaw Pact, but I figured it was worth a mention. Banpei the Mini-Con 22:04, 15 February 2010 (EST)
