Talk:Defensor (OTFCC)

"OTFCC" really doesn't seem like an appropriate suffix to be using. It's not traditional or especially accurate, since the toy was never released anyway. Isn't there something better? Maybe have him be Defensor (Universe) and make the Micromaster one Defensor (Micromaster) or something? --Steve-o 05:59, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Titanium Hot Zone and Prime rank

Maybe could we talk somewhere about Titanium Hot Zone, and how he seems to be inspired by OTFCC Defensor. Trivia, anyone ?

It also surprises me that he does not have the "Prime" rank, since he's a matrix bearer and Autobot leader.

hot spot/defensor

Are hot spot and defensor the same dude (ie hot rod and rodimus prime)? AVP made it kind sound as if there was an older version of defensor that was the combined form of the Protection Team. Freakertron (talk) 00:44, 8 November 2015 (EST)

Basically, the idea is that there was once a group of Autobots called the Protection Team that combined into Defensor. When the other members of the team were killed, Hot Spot was upgraded to maintain the abilities of Defensor in a single 'bot. Disambig tag

I realize that Defensor was only established as a 2001 RID character long after the fact, but would "(RID)" be a nicer disambiguation tag for this page than the current "(OTFCC)"?
