Talk:Delta Magnus
Maybe Powered Convoy (G1) should be merged here? This seems to be effectively an official name for a Transformers version of Powered Convoy. Saix (talk) 23:13, 26 October 2015 (EDT)
- I don't mind removing the Dreamwave clone's article, but I feel like maybe he should just be in the notes of this one? - Chris McFeely (talk) 14:14, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- Ehh, can't say I agree. It's still an appearance of "Powered Convoy", and we give full writeups for all of the other clones, among more insignificant Dreamwave cameos. Saix (talk) 14:18, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- I think the article is great the way it is right now. --Giggidy (talk) 15:00, 20 November 2015 (EST)
- I concur. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 20:18, 21 November 2015 (EST)

- Well, I suppose I never liked giving one-panel Dreamwave easter eggs articles or treating them like they were characters at all, so that informs my feelings about declaring this easter egg to be a character who didn't exist until ten years after it was drawn. - Chris McFeely (talk) 15:07, 20 November 2015 (EST)

Based on comics never available in Japan
[edit]Is this bit at the bottom of the toy section accurate? Isn't MTMTE available on Japanese iTunes? --Emvee (talk) 05:23, 8 March 2016 (EST)
- The note is sort of technical. Dreamwave comics and IDW comics have been translated and released in Japan... just not the issues that Delta Magnus/that clone actually appeared in. I'm looking at Amazon Japan right now and all the MTMTE comics listed are untranslated English editions. I don't think they've made it past All Hail Megatron. --DrSpengler (talk) 09:18, 8 March 2016 (EST)
MP-31 Toy Bio
[edit]MP-31 Delta Magnus' toy bio says:
Delta Magnus is the galaxy’s peacekeeper and is seen as a saviour to many planets inhabitants. Even before Convoy became the Cybertron Commander stories of Delta Magnus’ exploits were well known. This legendary hero has kept one secret he has never shared. At one point he was invited to be Earths City Commander but he declined the offer. The Cybertrons stationed on Earth knew of the ancient times and Delta Magnus was afraid his deep secret would be discovered.

and then:
Motto: "Lies also shine bright." Delta Magnus is part of a peacekeeping and relief mission in outer space, where he is a savior to the inhabitants of remote regions and planets; he was known of by Convoy, Supreme Commander of the Cybertrons, since early times. But even this legendary hero has a secret he won't divulge. He was once asked to be Earth's City Commander, but declined it, for those in Earth's forces also know of him from earlier times and he fears the possibility of the truth coming out.

Cleverly, his bio pays homage to his Diaclone Powered Convoy origins AND to his appearance in TFTM's previews.

- Do you think we should post that summary on his page (Changing some things of course) or should we leave it as it is....--Projectus (talk) 19:14, 10 March 2016 (EST)
- We should probably wait until the toy is actually released to do anything with that bio, right? -Foffy the Sheep (talk) 19:49, 10 March 2016 (EST)
Target exclusive Titanium War Within Optimus Prime
[edit]With the advent of Delta Magnus, does this mean that the Target-exclusive repaint of Titanium Series War Within Optimus Prime (which is supposedly recolored to resemble movie-verse Optimus) is, retroactively, Delta Magnus? Other than the faceplate, it's a very close match...
Greboguru (talk) 14:27, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
- No. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 15:22, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
- Hm, I don't think it's close enough - if some of the colours were reversed (red helmet, blue chest, red shoulders) it might be worth a mention but as it is, I'd say the caption on Prime's toy page is sufficient. However, I'm pretty sure that we'll see a bunch of Ultra Magnus repaints over the next few years that will fill up this page though, now he's started to get his own mould instead of being a white Optimus - you know that it comes easy when you want it bad enough :) --Emvee (talk) 15:40, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
Magna Convoy
[edit]Should we have some sort of link or note on both pages since both of them are based on the Powered Convoy toy? --Khajidha (talk) 09:30, 12 June 2018 (EDT)
- Agreed and done. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 13:03, 12 June 2018 (EDT)
Powerdrive
[edit]Thought while I have a break: We will probably need an article for Powerdrive, since he's likely the red buggy with Missing Link Delta Magnus. Saix (talk) 02:13, 21 October 2025 (EDT)
