Talk:Demolishor (ROTF)
Untitled
[edit]I have to question the usefullness of having a GIF as the main image. While awesome, it does distract from the main page (granted, it's not much of a page, but I digress). Could we get an image of the scene to serve as the main image until we get stock photos? -- 20:27, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
- It was a whole 3 megabytes large. So, I nuked it. Because it was the dimensions of a postage stamp and the filesize of a video file. Not good.--RosicrucianTalk 20:40, 30 March 2009 (EDT)
I don't understand that image caption, but I laughed at it. --Andrusi, who is too lazy to log in and thus looks like 71.75.187.174 10:51, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
Concept Art
[edit]Should we put Concept art of the ROTF characters as the main images of them? and the current main image could go somewher else on a page. Cos I have noticed that almost all the main images of the First movie characters are concpt art, so why is ROTF character concept art so different? Lets put them up! but why have we not yet? almost every character has them! --92.238.187.82 15:06, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- I don't think we have concept art for any of the first movie's characters. Lots of promotional art, sure. Certainly nothing that exists only as leaked/stolen concept art. --ItsWalky 16:03, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- Oh Sorry I meant Promotional Art, i always get them confused--92.238.187.82 10:31, 12 September 2009 (EDT)
- We do not have promotional art for Demolishor. --ItsWalky 13:55, 12 September 2009 (EDT)

http://polopirate.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/53_71646_07bec234ba5feea.jpg is that good enough? furthermore we HAVE uploaded concept art, like for Hightower, does anyone complain? NO! So it would be MUCH better if we got an official art image tha just a useless video game still with all due respect --92.238.160.72 09:04, 19 September 2009 (EDT)
- No, as it's leaked. We do not upload leaked art or information it's against our policy. And that is not a game still, it is a game concept image. Dead Metal 09:08, 19 September 2009 (EDT)
- Once one of us gets the blue ray, we should try to get a good screen cap of him to use as the main pic, because almost all other images of him show him in Scavenger's colours. --FFN 09:23, 19 September 2009 (EDT)
In-fiction name "Demolisher"?
[edit]I don't think "Demolishor" was ever used for this guy in-fiction. It wasn't in the movie or comic adaptation. He was "Demolisher" in the novel adaptation. So if in-fiction names trump toy names for article titles (like Leo Prime), technically shouldn't this page be at "Demolisher"? The novels were pretty casual in spelling names so I could see why this might be an exception to the rule. - Starfield 12:54, 17 November 2010 (EST)
- I think "Demolisher" is a typo. Does anyone know what he's called in the games? --NCZ 12:56, 17 November 2010 (EST)
- I believe he is called "the Demolishor". ---Blackout- 13:52, 17 November 2010 (EST)
- I doubt it is a typo. Maybe it was the same over-eager novel editor who turned "Knock Out" into "Knockout" and "Dead End" into "Deadend" in the prequel novel. - Starfield 14:01, 17 November 2010 (EST)
Construction?
[edit]Is there any proof that Demolishor is a Constructicon from any toy, bio or fiction, or are we just assigning him that group because he shares his form with Scavenger, who is a Constructicon? 198.51.174.5 09:01, 3 May 2011 (EDT)
Wheals
[edit]I don't know about anyone else, but I am confused as to how he has two wheels in robot mode. I think that they are formed by his treads (which boggles me), but I don't see how he would get Two wheels from two tracks, when in my mind it would seem that he would need four tracks. Anyway, should that fact get a mention in the notes?--Megatron Prime 00:18, 7 May 2011 (EDT)
- Umm, no. Since there are toys that actually transform 2 treads into 2 wheels, there really isn't any confusion. --Khajidha 09:19, 7 May 2011 (EDT)
Vehicle mode note
[edit]This bit doesn't really make any sense. Just because the model was renamed later on, doesn't mean all older models are retroactively re-named. He still transforms into a Terex, doesn't he? Spike467 (talk) 06:25, 13 October 2018 (EDT)
