Why was this moved? The stuff in the paranthesis is there so the articles aren't in the same place, not for telling people what continuity the character is from. That's what the blurb at the beginning of the article is for. We want to keep the page titles as short as possible. --129.110.197.252 23:28, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

aargh --FortMax 23:29, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
It was moved because there is another Dirge in Timelines. --ItsWalky 00:29, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Are you sure? "Dirge (Timelines)" directs back to this! -Derik 00:44, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm gonna re-open this discussion... should we really have this under this disambig? --M Sipher 10:10, 12 July 2010 (EDT)

Technically I guess Dirge (SG) is in Timelines, which was the original reason for changing this to "Descent into Evil" right? Personally, I'd say "ignore all standards" would apply here. Most people seem to think of SG as a unified whole and forget that some of it is technically Timelines. Given that, I would support moving this back to Dirge (Timelines). --Khajidha 10:15, 12 July 2010 (EDT)
I'd really like to see Dirge and Ricochet moved back to (Timelines) now that the other two Timelines guys are secure with (SG). Does anyone object to that? Geewunling 17:26, 21 January 2011 (EST)
Granted, I don't always understand how the parentheticals work, but there is another "Dirge (Timelines)" toy from 2007's Games of Deception. --Xaaron 17:57, 21 January 2011 (EST)
Characters from pre-existing franchises don't matter. —Interrobang 18:01, 21 January 2011 (EST)
What Interrobang said. The franchise/subfranchise/sub-subfranchise of origin matters for the identifier, or we would have to move, say, Megatron (BW) because the G1 dude appeared in the BW cartoon. Geewunling 05:06, 22 January 2011 (EST)
