Is that a NEST logo on his door? I can't quite tell. --Andrusi 11:55, 23 June 2009 (EDT)

NEST logo modified with Autobot insignia, if I'm correct.--RosicrucianTalk 11:57, 23

Was he in the Movie?

[edit]

I just noticed how Landmine's Buggy appeared in the Movie, and I am wondering, Where the nest Buggies based on Dune Runner?

I believe it was the Dune Runner figure itself who was based on the vehicle, not the other way around - Remember, they were in the first movie, way before Dune Runner. Hope I'm not misunderstanding anything. -- Malunis T 16:28, 1 August 2009 (EDT)

Could make a good movieverse Hound or Beachcomber?

[edit]

If you remove one of the guns, I think it could be passable as Hound. Kitbashers would probably wanna give it a new head and paintjob, though. Same for Beachcomber, but without both guns. -- Malunis T 16:30, 1 August 2009 (EDT)

Random hinge

[edit]

The chest on the figure has a hinge on the windshield. Does this serve any real purpose? --Malunis T 20:42, 9 August 2009 (EDT)

Are you talking about that rectangular line just above the actual windshield in robot mode? That's the roof lights, not a hinge. Compare with the vehicle mode image.--Apcog 23:55, 9 August 2009 (EDT)
Oh no, I know what those are. The hinge is actually right under those lights. It allows you to fold the windshield behind the roof, but this is utterly useless as far as I can tell. Here's a blurry pic. Couldn't be for the robot mode, you'll see why if you have the figure. Any ideas? --Malunis T 02:05, 10 August 2009 (EDT)
That's...very odd, to be sure. I'll have to pick up one and experiment with it. Could be worth a Trivia note on the page, at least.--Apcog 12:29, 12 August 2009 (EDT)
Twas my assumption that it was merely to prevent the windshield from snapping off, which it quite easily could if it was one piece and in the hands of kids that play a bit rough. --209.145.88.74 16:46, 23 August 2009 (EDT)
