Body templates

[edit]

Omega Supreme and Lugnut seem to clearly have the same bodyform, and it seems impossible that Lugnut was ever an Autobot. Could somebody tweet Wyatt and ask him if Omega was built based on Lugnut?KrytenKoro 09:05, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

  • It's probably just a co-incidence. Personally, I don't find the two much similar-structure wise. New Era Outlaw 09:13, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
They don't have the same bodyform! What are you talking about? --ItsWalky 09:19, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
Obviously not at the same size, but look at them - same hands, both have shoulder wings, lobe-head with no neck, same kind of legs, vent-shoulders...Omega's pretty much an upsized-version of Lugnut. Hell, even though I knew they were building Dark Sentinels, they looked exactly like giant Lugnut's until they did the visor face.KrytenKoro 09:25, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
--ItsWalky 09:32, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
And those seriously don't look at all similar to you? Huh.KrytenKoro 09:39, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
In the same way that Oil Slick and Prowl are similar, yes. —Interrobang 09:44, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
They're both massive guys. That's all. Contrary to your original assertion, they don't have the same hands. They don't have the same lobe-head with no neck (Omega Supreme HAS A NECK), they don't have the same legs, and they don't have the same shoulders. The only thing that you said was true is that they both have shoulder wings. --ItsWalky 09:51, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

I don't see it with Lugnut and Omega. I just don't see how it's even possible. No Offense.TransformerChick 09:41, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

I guess I was just seeing things then. Sorry if I annoyed anyone.KrytenKoro 10:03, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
For "Lugnut Supreme", though - that Tweet seemed more like Wyatt playing around with the guy wanting a Supreme-class Lugnut/Omega redeco, instead of giving an official name. Did anyone else get that vibe?KrytenKoro 13:58, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

Adding Information

[edit]

When would be an acceptable time to start adding information on this page? New Era Outlaw 09:14, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

As soon as you have seen the episode?--RosicrucianTalk 09:16, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

Optimus' jetpack

[edit]
  • Don't you think this is the new 'Wingblade Optimus Prime' Voyager? I do. --206.253.51.107 14:26, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
  • I think the Boosters unit is clearly a reference to Sideswipe's Jetpack. The fact that it look a bit like G1 Jetfire's booster is more of a coincidence. If anything else, I think it would be more pertinent to mention Sideswipe's Jetpack and remove Jetfire's reference.--GUIGUI 14:41, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
  • Look carefully at the design of Optimus' gauntlets, too....they're now more stylised, and they even have little wingtips protruding from them!New Era Outlaw 17:38, 16 May 2009 (EDT)

The Final Stretch?

[edit]

I hate to be the one ask the obvious questions but the various comments on the page (that and the episode name) but are these the last episodes? HotRodimusPrime

To be honest, no one can say for sure. --Professor Icepick 01:41, 17 May 2009 (EDT)
The only official word from Hasbro is, if Cartoon Network wants to continue it, they can. So it's pretty much up in the air at this point.New Era Outlaw 13:30, 17 May 2009 (EDT)
They can't end it now! They have to explain where Sari came from! --abates 18:14, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

Jetpack

[edit]

"While more viewers will likely be reminded of Cybertron Optimus Prime's super mode, Animated Optimus's new flight attachments (specifically, the colors and details of his wings and gauntlets) are based on God Ginrai's flight-endowing Godbomber components. The flight pack itself, to which the wings attach, doesn't seem to owe as much to the Masterforce character, appearing instead to resemble the booster pack from the original Jetfire (and thus the FAST Packs from Super-Dimensional Fortress Macross). His shoulder cannons also appear to be based on his Voyager-class toy's water blaster". This is very POV unless confirmed by design staff. It appears to be more of a combination between Jetfire's Boosterpack, Victory Leo's wings, and either Cybertron Starscream's pectoral cannons or Optimal Optimus' shoulder cannons to me.--86.87.28.191 15:38, 18 May 2009 (EDT)

It has been confirmed. And "it's a combination of four different unrelated guys" is way more speculatory than "It looks exactly like what Optimus himself did in a previous series".KrytenKoro 17:41, 18 May 2009 (EDT)
Plus Wyatt actually confirmed on Twitter that it is (as is patently obvious from just looking at it) based on God Ginrai. He didn't confirm the cannons (but they are quite blatantly based his Voyager toy's guns) - the only truly speculatory part is the Jetfire connection. - Chris McFeely 17:49, 18 May 2009 (EDT)

Shrapnel Reference?

[edit]
  • Is it possible that Shockwave's hacking method with the electricity between the "antlers" is a reference to Shrapnel's electronic control powers? ZeldaTheSwordsman 15:34, 14 January 2010 (EST)
