Toy role
[edit]So, the stars that came with the toys. Did they just sit there? Or were they like cyber keys? JW 19:34, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- They didn't activate any features. The main gimmick was that every toy had something like the old Beast Wars/Beast Machines spark crystals, with a fitted ring around it. Thus the stars that came with the omnicons, terrorcons, and combiners could fit on any toy and cause it to "power up" similar to how any toy could use the energon weapons from these toys (which likewise could combine into bigger weapons due to their pegging system).--RosicrucianTalk 19:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- So, unless one thinks they're pretty, they don't add any play value? Hmm, thanks. JW 19:42, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Pretty much. However they are the main reason I got Doom-Lock, as he had about the perfect color orange energon star and sword to go on the Galvatron figure.--RosicrucianTalk 19:46, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Color
[edit]The write up gives a rationale for the red, green and blue ones; but the listing also mentions orange, yellow and purple. Did these have some meaning? Khajidha 21:50, 6 December 2009 (EST)
Alternate meaning?
[edit]Rhinox (Armada) is said to have a place on his toy originally meant for an Energon chip, which redirects here, which I know cannot possibly be what was meant. Did someone cheap out on disambiguations? --Andrusi 14:48, 16 June 2010 (EDT)
- I think what was meant was Spark crystal. --Khajidha 14:59, 16 June 2010 (EDT)
