Invasion Galactica

[edit]

Just wondering but should there be an invasion Galactica sub-section here? Bergen08 (talk)

Also, should there be a Invasion Galactica page that redirects to here? Bergen08 (talk) 3:30, 7 March 2021 (EST)

What very little I have been able to find regarding Invasion Galactica is that they were a whole bunch of Brazilian-manufacture toys (not just Transformers) that were quickly repackaged by unknown parties for sale in Argentina. Do you have any more info than that? Do the cards include any company logos or identifiers? Are these "official" releases by Estrela or is it more like someone selling bootleg VHS tapes? EDIT: also, if we were to include this, they should probably go on the page for Antex since they were the only known company that would have been making money selling Transformers in Argentina at that time. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 10:30, 8 March 2021 (EST)
Like, a subsection doesn't seem appropriate given how little info we have and how shady the whole thing looks, but I think it'd certainly be worth a Note saying "so yeah this thing happened and we don't know a lot about it and it looks shady as hell." --M Sipher (talk) 21:47, 8 March 2021 (EST)

I analysed the packaging, there seems to be a company logo on the bottom right. Because the photo of the packaging I have had some parts torn off, the first few letters are not there. What I could make out of it was "strla Argentinia". --Bergen08 (talk)4:27, 9 March 2021 (EST)

http://www.toyarchive.com/Transformers/Brazilian/Invasion.html "Industria Argentina", which doesn't clear things up much. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 07:40, 9 March 2021 (EST)

Given that we don't know much , I don't think that we should add the note on the Antex page. --Bergen08 (talk)23:17, 9 March 2021 (EST)

I put a small note right here on the Estrela page. After all these years I doubt we will ever be able to add much more. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 23:36, 9 March 2021 (EST)

I agree with you. Unless there's more information or any documentary about it in the future, that will most likely be the case. --Bergen08 (talk) 3:18, 11 March 2021 (EST)

Featured article

[edit]
Hey, just wanted to say that I'm really happy to see this article being featured! I put a lot of work into it over the past months and it's truly great to see it getting the front page treatment :D (FortressMaxxing (talk) 11:31, 1 May 2025 (EDT))
Also, I just realized, since the toyline launched in Brazil in May of 1985, the fact that this article has been selected today on the May of 2025 - exactly 40 years later - is pretty poetic, hehe (FortressMaxxing (talk) 12:47, 1 May 2025 (EDT))
