Someone needs to find the really awesome looking generic dude from the movie to headline this page. Monzo dug it up last year... The guy was right at the bottom right hand part of the screen during one point as the Decepticons scramble during Unicron's attack on Cybertron in the original movie, and looked like something from Bubblegum Crisis or Metal Jack.--MCRG 05:49, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Scratch that! Found it!--MCRG 05:51, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I thought that guy was on Lithone? Which would kind of make the image not really fit the article, which is about Generic Transformers. --KilMichaelMcC 10:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
He is on Lithone. How are we distinguishing generics exactly? I've always considered any background Transformer (and the Lithone guys were technically Transformers) to be a "generic", and I don't think I'm alone in that assumption.
Lithones are probably related to Transformers- or at least Quintessons- ...not that anyone listens to my opinions on this matter. -Derik 20:18, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

But that millisecond! --Andrusi 23:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

The Cybertron generics

[edit]

Requesting permission to add a section the Cybertron cartoon's generics. ZeldaTheSwordsman 17:36, 10 September 2009 (EDT)

That's kinda not the sort of change you need to ask permission to do, IMHO. In other words, feel free! --abates 21:41, 10 September 2009 (EDT)

Animated Generics

[edit]

This section confuses me, or rather the end of the sentence: "but sometimes they have new heads and posture, or sometimes even a new gender!" Is this trying to say that Bumper, Tap-Out, and Glyph are considered generics? Or am I misunderstanding this sentence? EShadowP 15:26, 3 August 2010 (EDT)

In the context of the show, without any outside sources (creator blogs, AllSpark Almanac, etc) they are unnamed generics. It is only in light of revelations outside of the actual episodes that we really know anything about them. Much like Sunstorm they are generics who have been remade into named characters. --Khajidha 00:59, 4 August 2010 (EDT)
