Talk:Gimmick
Looking over the pages lately, I've noticed that there are a LOT of pages about specific gimmicks for toys listed ambiguously in the Toys category. Just a side thought, but could a category specifically for it be made? I'd say if anyone could find at least... oh, 15 pages about various gimmicks then it could be discussed further. Any one who agrees? King Starscream 03:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Category seems like a good idea to me. Useful, interesting to survey, etc. -Derik 05:12, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- Fifteen, eh? Lemme see here... This is all from memory, not an active search through the wiki (with the exception of getting exact article names), so feel free to add to this.

Auto feet gimmick
[edit]Should the auto feet gimmick have a page? That's where the the feet are spring loaded and close up when he isn't standing like on Movie Voyager Megatron. If so, what should it be called? - Starfield 10:28, 10 June 2010 (EDT)
Do the "Pull-apart to make weapons" gimmick of the WFC Trilogy count as a gimmick?
[edit]Pretty much what the title says. I want to add the COMBAT, AIRLOCK, and FOSSIL gimmicks to the list of gimmicks linked to on this page, but I did want to get some opinions on if they truly count, or if they're just figure-specific features?
Gimmick revaluation?
[edit]I dunno, but it seems some TF fans seem to want gimmicks back (namely patriot prime and thew, among some people on Twitter). Should that be included here?Poliwag06 (talk) 09:44, 9 January 2024 (EST)
