When Gnaw was released in Japan, was he called gnaw or Sharkticon? (The Atlus game features a Sharkticon who isn't called Gnaw...) -Derik 03:33, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure, but since he was only availiable as a mail-away in Hasbro packaging, I'm going to bet "Gnaw". --FortMax 03:44, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
okie-day. Thanks -Derik 04:24, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

G1 Cartoon

[edit]

Would he have to have been called by name to be considered part of the G1 cartoon? I mean, any one of those Sharkticons could've been him and the toy was certainly sold to coincide with Transformers: the Movie and Season 3. Riddlerj 16:57, 30 November 2009 (EST)

You've struck the nail on the head - the toy was sold as a specific character, but no Sharkticon in the toon was ever identified as him. Any given Sharkitcon shown onscreen could be Gnaw, but it could also be called Rend, Chomp, or Masticate. --abates 17:27, 30 November 2009 (EST)

Commercial?

[edit]

Wasn't there I commercial advertising the Sharkticon/Gnaw toy? Shouldn't that be listed here
