IDW Generation 1 Category?

Do we want to categorize HoS as "IDW issues" or "IDW Generation 1 issues"? While HoS is (arguably) a G1 continuity, it is not IDW's main G1 continuity. JW 15:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Real Autobots or Brainwashed Maximals?

I'm confused about why the character lists for the Hearts of Steel issues and the Infestation issues link to the real Optimus Prime instead of Domitius Major. Didn't the Revolutionaries miniseries establish that all the Autobots in the Hearts of Steel series were actually brainwashed Maximals? Or is there another source that contradicts this? Several background notes seem to imply that while events similar to Hearts of Steel happened in the main IDW continuity, they weren't the actual events of the Hearts of Steel miniseries. But is there a source to support this claim?

Various other pieces of fiction treat the Hearts of Steel characters as the real deal; most notably, the X-Files crossover that Revolutionaries ignore.
