Talk:Hector Ramirez
Okay, I thought I'd bring this up. Hector Ramirez was Sunbow's crossover character created by Buzz Dixon and appeared only in episodes which were written by Dixon. In the Dixon-penned episode "Prime Target" a newscaster who looks like Ramirez appears on TV, though he is unidentified and not voiced by Neil Ross. The reason I bother to bring this is up is because the fact booklet written by Hirofumi Ichikawa which was included with the Transformers 2010 DVD box set (which I own) claims that the newscaster is Hector Ramirez and refers to him as Sunbow's "Crossover character". Should Ramirez receive his own article or is the information in the booklet too suspect? --DrSpengler 02:23, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, is the booklet an official source of information? If so, I don't see why not. Its not as if the Ramirez-looking TF character called himself Kent Brockman. --FFN 04:39, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't know abotu the booklet info.
- The answer was yes even without it, 'cuz Zobovor says it's him, and Zob 'knows things,' like Layla Miller. -Derik 04:42, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Animated?
[edit]I really didn't think the news anchor in Animated looked anything like Hector. --KilMichaelMcC 15:15, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah. I thought he looked more like a black guy than a hispanic guy, too. --DrSpengler 15:29, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- He looked Indian to me. -Derik 15:32, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
The linked interview
[edit]Dixon doesn't appear to say anything about including Ramirez in one of his scripts for The Transformers in that interview. The closest he gets is saying that he thinks Flint Dille asked permission to use Ramirez in either Joe or Transformers. --flicky1991 07:31, 23 February 2013 (EST)
