Talk:Hi-Q
The 2003 Hasbro Generation One reissue of Powermaster Optimus Prime (phew), the one with the Apex Armor ('Apex Bomber'), called Hi-Q "Ginrai" on the back of the box and (IIRC) instructions.
- Yeah. That's why at the top it says he's "Sometimes called Ginrai." That release does need to be listed under toys, though. --ItsWalky 16:59, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
This page really needs a scan of Hi-Q screaming that he's Optimus Prime. I wish I had one.
- I'll get you one if you got a good caption to go with it! Takeshi357 15:03, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- There are no panels in which Hi-Q is "screaming that he's Optimus Prime." There are panels in which he is screaming that they need to find the Last Autobot, but all of the panels in which he is being identified by Optimus Prime are either spoken softly or are said by others. They're not particularly compelling, or I would have used one of those myself. --ItsWalky 01:21, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit]What kind of crazy continuity does "Nucleon Quest Super Convoy" Hi-Q come from? - Starfield 00:04, 19 November 2009 (EST)
- Toy packaging copy continuity, I'd guess. See: Nucleon#Toy_packaging_blurb --ItsWalky 00:07, 19 November 2009 (EST)
- The timeline from Kiss Players placed Nucleon Quest Convoy's exploits in J-cartoon timeline, after Prime's return in "Battlestars" but before G2. - Chris McFeely 06:30, 19 November 2009 (EST)
A whacky thought re: toys
[edit]Would we consider Action Master Optimus Prime to be a toy of Hi-Q?--RosicrucianTalk 16:01, 1 January 2011 (EST)
- That...is a very good point. With that logic, since they were fused as one being, G2 Prime would be him as well. Blueshift 16:03, 1 January 2011 (EST)
- We already have it noted that every G1 Optimus Prime toy chronologically after the Action Master one can technically be considered an Hi-Q toy. Stevo 18:24, 1 January 2011 (EST)

Redundant pages?
[edit]We currently have the Titan Master Apex listed both as being Hi-Q and on his own page as Apex as if they are separate characters. Adding to that confusion is that a character named Apex showed up in Beast Wars: Uprising. Are they supposed to be the same character in one continuity but not another? If so, I think we need to add a note to both pages or something. --King Starscream (talk) 13:38, 30 September 2016 (EDT)
