This is fairly nitpicky at this stage, but I still maintain that there is little evidence that the weapons the TM characters were holding were, in fact, the Nebulans. The weapons did indeed look right, but we never see them transform, and no evidence is given that the weapons are sentient creatures.--G.B. Blackrock 16:41, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Hot Rod's, et al's weapons were not the same 'shape' as the targetmastewr weapons, unlike the Headmasters (who re-created the heads.) The TM weapons we've seen only really ever EXISTED as Targetmasters-- ther was no non-targetmaster 'shatterforce cannon' that looked like that.
I mean- Landfill is holding the guns in DOUBLE-WEAPON FORM. In all their dorky awkward-looking glory.
There is an error ehre though- Scoop doesn't seem to be among those who fought Hook, Line and Sinker. Instead we got this guy. Is he suppsoed to be someone, or is he just an anonymous aide to Xaaron that replaced Skater? (Whom I supposed must have died at some point- possibly in the Kalis debacle.)
What do yout hink of an italicised meta-note that the weapons did nto transform, and there doesn't seem to be a 'place' in MU continuity for these 'bots to have gotten Nebulan partners? (Basically, they'd have had to have transfered from the Steelhaven TO Cybertron prior to #50, and then be transfering back after Starscream decimated the troops on Earth.)
...wait, wasn't that EXACTLY what Siren, Hosehead and Nightbeat did in the backstory to The Big Shutdown? -Derik 17:20, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
A meta-note could work well. "The Big Shutdown" never occurred in the US continuity, so I can't comment on it. I just tend to think that the Wiki should specify what are facts (as given in the materials) and what are interpretations of the facts. The Nebulans presence with the "double" Targetmasters is one valid interpretation of the facts with which we have been presented. But I really can't say we've been presented with their presence as a fact in and of itself. An equally valid interpretation of the facts we've been given is that the Autobots in question (not "TMs" yet) have weapons that simply look remarkably similar to the TM weapons. As you've already noted, this interpretation deals nicely with the difficulty in establishing how the Nebulans got together with these particular Autobots currently on Cybertron.--G.B. I'mm draft a note about the logistical problems involved and add it... sometimes. (Busy this weekend, damn distracting Wiki!) -Derik 18:33, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
