Talk:Iacon (polity)

According to one of the DK Armada guides, Autobot City is also Iacon. (Read that as you will. An alternate name for it? Dimensional countepart?) This used a pic of SC from the Armada comic, but Autobot City's 'look' (with the giant autobot-sigil hologram) also creeped intot he Armada game. Additionally, Arm Starscream said be'd been created in the 'Iacon Chamber.' (Perhaps the Plasma Energy Chamber is beneath Iacon?) Regardless, Iacon in SOME form seems to exist in every Armada continuity.

...I just have no idea how to write that up. -Derik 21:36, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

Query: Where did screenwriter George Arthur Bloom procure the name "Iacon" from? Does it have a meaning, or is it simply a meaningless neologism? I've wondered about this for years. -anonymous, 22 January 2008

I've just been wondering that myself, nearly ten years later. It's from a development stage where there probably is an inspiration for pretty much every name, although there may be no record of it. My best guess is that it's a nod to Lee Iacocca. --Tribimat (talk) 09:51, 3 December 2017 (EST)

Tower of Pion

[edit]

It's listed on this page as being from Marvel, but the actual article about it lists it as being only from Dreamwave. Which is right? Thanos6 03:50, 17 October 2009 (EDT)

New Iacon

[edit]

Should the new settlement in IDW continuity be a separate page, or on this one? --Xaaron (talk) 12:28, 25 November 2013 (EST)
