Talk:Lost Light
Untitled
[edit]I moved Whirl to "added crew", since he wasn't supposed to be onboard. (On the summary, I intended to attach the link of issue 1, but did issue 2 by mistake) Thunderweb 08:20, 30 May 2012 (EDT)
Dogfight
[edit]Dogfight is listed under both crew at launch and crew post-takeoff. Has it been confirmed either way? Antimatter 15:15, 6 April 2013 (EDT)
Slaughterhouse
[edit]In the latest issue of MTMTE, we see a time-displaced version of the Lost Light, with all of its crew (excluding Rewind) dead. How do we classify these characters, given the unique circumstances of their deaths?--DeathbotTheGreat (talk) 22:01, 27 August 2014 (EDT)
Lots of notes
[edit]-Whirl technically joined the crew before the launch by a slight margin, though he was half dead and unconscious. same with tailgate. -Whirl, Swerve, Perceptor, Mainframe, and Rung are killed in a flashback sequence in slaughterhouse. I think they should be marked with asterisks. -rewind should have some indicator that he came back to life in slaughterhouse. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Combaticons4ever (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
- There's a difference between being on board the ship and being part of the crew though. I think we should wait until the story arc concludes and see if Rewind's resurrection sticks before making any changes to his entry. --abates (talk) 16:38, 10 September 2014 (EDT)
Asterisks and modifiers
[edit]Do we really need to note which members of the crew were shown dead in Slaughterhouse? Or that Ravage was originally a stowaway, or that Deftwing is deceased? The list is going to be a mess after MTMTE runs another 30 issues. --abates (talk) 15:45, 29 October 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah. We need a better way to do this. Like maybe giving up on the whole "deceased" thing. -- Repowers (talk) 18:57, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- Still, while complex, it's informative.ZeroSD (talk) 19:59, 11 November 2014 (EST)
- I can understand taking off the asterisks on the characters that were killed on Lost Light A, since it doesn't really serve much of a purpose, but we should list characters that are deceased as deceased for information purposes, like we do with all of the incarnations of the Wreckers.--DeathbotTheGreat (talk) 20:47, 11 November 2014 (EST)
Trailcutter
[edit]James Roberts has confirmed on Twitter that Trailcutter is deceased, so I added it to the page.--DeathbotTheGreat (talk) 18:54, 11 November 2014 (EST)
How to handle the split
[edit]We need subject headers that don't function like names, so people don't think "Lost Light A" is an actual designation. It isn't - it's totally meaningless beyond the context of this page.
I'm blanking, though. "Correct destination" and "Wrong destination"? -- Repowers (talk) 00:07, 12 November 2014 (EST)
- "(on course)" and "(off course)"? --M Sipher (talk) 00:48, 12 November 2014 (EST)
- I realize this will probably be shot down, but maybe we could make seperate pages for Lost Light A and Lost Light B?--DeathbotTheGreat (talk) 17:18, 12 November 2014 (EST)
Sunsteaker and Bob
[edit]Why are these two listed as departed? When was this shown? --Xaaron (talk) 20:51, 8 December 2014 (EST)
Crew addum divisions
[edit]Possible suggestion- splitting up 'ones added on return to Cybertron,' and 'ones added post departure from Cybertron.' Since there's a gap in origin and a gap in time between all the Cybertronian natives (+Nautica) joining on Cybertron, and the bots picked up later. ZeroSD (talk) 17:30, 20 July 2015 (EDT)
- I would like to make a addendum to those who were apart of Getaway mutineers. (the ones that appear on page) cause i count Getaway, Riptide, Jackpot, Crosscut, Bluestreak, Blaster, Mainframe, Hoist, Atomizer, Siren and Grapple. I say this cause there a small (And i do put emphasize on this) that there was a small group who may not have known about the mutiny plan still onboard the lost light (Mainframe had to make an excuse to give them Whirl).--Projectus (talk) 19:07, 23 May 2016 (EDT)
- No. Saix (talk) 20:14, 23 May 2016 (EDT)
- Or, at the very least, not until we have a better idea of who knew what aboard the Lost Light. --Xaaron (talk) 22:33, 23 May 2016 (EDT)
- Sounds reasonable.--Projectus (talk) 23:05, 24 May 2016 (EDT)
- Great now theres a complication if the preview is any indication. Apparently the Galactic Counsel hates Megatron since he is now doing their job of protecting organics whereas he used to hate them. The council fears being replaced, so they rebuild Overlord to kill Megatron, teaming up with Getaway, who puts the mutiny into action. which means the mutineers removes Rodimus and company with the thought that the council only promised to kill Megatron and the others would live (Still not sold on Getaway though since if that the case, then how the hell were the DJD there in the first place.--Projectus (talk) 14:09, 19 July 2016 (EDT)
- Your categorization is still a bad idea and always has been. Saix (talk) 14:18, 19 July 2016 (EDT)
- There's no reason to make any changes to the page based on a three-page preview alone. Even once the entire issue is released, no addendum should be considered until we revisit the Lost Light itself and see the status of the crew after the mutiny. Some third party talking about the circumstances that led to Getaway's action doesn't change the initial concerns about this idea. --Xaaron (talk) 14:23, 19 July 2016 (EDT)

Crew Manifest
[edit]Should we mark this section like the crew of Vis Vitalis with deceased/departed marks? Jcbynum1 17:01, 1 October 2016 (EDT)
- The list used to have them, but they were removed. The amount of notes was becoming ridiculous with it noting if characters were dead, had departed, were dead as quantum duplicates, etc, etc. We should remove the similar modifiers from the Vis Vitalis list. --abates (talk) 17:40, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
