Talk:Magmatron (BW)

Is Magmatron really a Fuzor? --KilMichaelMcC 09:34, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Aaaaand looking up the answer myself, I see that he is. --KilMichaelMcC 09:39, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

I remebre Magmatron's box was japanified and all, but does anyone remember if he had the same package backstory blurb as the other Dinobots? If he did it would suggest to me that, like them, he's actually technorganic (despite not looking it). ZacWilliam 12:48, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Magmatron's Bio Card

[edit]

Does Magmatron's bio card say that he's a "heroic Maximal"? JW 21:48, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes. --ItsWalky 22:24, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

"Official" dinosaur names

[edit]

According to the English instructions, its pieces are "Plesiosaur", "Raptor", and "Pteranodon". Only one of those is near correct, but that's what it says. What do you guys want to do about that?99.39.88.159 23:50, 27 April 2012 (EDT)

Lucky Draw

[edit]

Gee, Does anyone heard of this? --TX55TALK 11:49, 11 December 2012 (EST)

Black Magmatron's listed on the Lucky Draw figure page, so I guess so! --abates 14:36, 11 December 2012 (EST)
There's also a Gold Magmatron listed there. Neither LD Magmatron is listed on his own page, though. --Khajidha 14:50, 11 December 2012 (EST)
I see. Thanks!! :D --TX55TALK 21:10, 11 December 2012 (EST)

Beast Machines Toy

[edit]

A friend of mine had bought both the Japanese and Beast Machines releases of the figure sealed and opened both of them to compare side by side. He said that the paint/plastic colour had no change and that there was no evidence of the glossy look mentioned on this wiki page. He also compared the weapons and missiles, everything is identical with no rounding off to the American saftey standards. I also own the Beast Machines version and have compared the weapons to pictures of the Japanese/Korean releases, I have found no differences between the two. My friend also compared mine with the two he owns and there are no differences.

I was wondering if we could change the description on this wiki page to say that all releases are identical? I'm not sure how reliable the source of information the editor of that section used was and I'm not saying they are wrong, but it was a little something I wanted to point out. Before joining earlier today, I always used this wiki for info on figures I am looking to own, so I would like to help correct anything so there isn't any false information spread for anyone else looking to use the info on here for the same purposes.

Just letting any future editors who may see my statement above know that my statement was based on false information. I have since seen pictures comparing the two and and their differences and have reverted my edits. My friend said he bought two sealed Takara ones and two sealed Hasbro ones just to be sure, and he said he couldn't find any differences upon opening them. He admits now that the paint differences are there but he didn't see it as that much of a drastic change. As for the rounded tips for missiles, he's under the impression that there may be some earlier variants out there that weren't modified to American safety laws or something and that the modified ones might be later running changes. Going by the pictures I've seen, the swords are both rounded, just the Hasbro one has more of a thicker nub on the end rather than curving up into somewhat of a point, so I'm not sure on whether he's just glanced at the two and gone "nah, they're the same" or what the story is. Also, since seeing the pictures, I realise that I have the Takara one after all even though I was told it was the Hasbro release upon buying it. Guess I scored there!
