Artistic quality never approached the standards of Dreamwave's later books. WTF!?

I LIKED the Carwash of Doom. You losers just hate the connotation of the title. -Derik 21:14, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

LOL! That's actually one bit of Marvel Wiki-ness that I can't take credit (blame?) for. Suffice it to say, I'd be perfectly happy if you decided it needed editing to something less opinionated.--G.B. Blackrock 21:27, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Soo... 'Marvel Comics' has a landing page- but Marvel UK doesn't. And the Marvel Comics page doesn't mention or link to the Marvel UK page.

I mention because there's a whole mess of characters who need a 'Marvel UK portion of Generation 1' note in their opening note- and it'd be nice if there was a Marvel UK article to meet that need. As is I'm linking to [[Generation 1 (Marvel comic)#Marvel UK|Marvel UK]], which is both a pain in the ass and messy.

I know nothing about Marvel UK, so I cant' write a landing page.

Also, why does this article start with 'it's a little known fact that'? That's a terrible way to start an article. It comes off as bossy and know-it-all, like the bitch Margaret from Dennis the Menace. (Uh, the cartoon.) -Derik 16:10, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

"Restored", Oct 21 2007

[edit]

My overzealous touchpad was activated during the typing of that edit and decided "Restored" was quite enough of a change summary. I originally was going to say "Restored 'Marvel Zombies', previously taken out without justification by an unregistered IP circa September."

I also thought that every sentence should end with an exclamation point, but I don't have sufficient Bullpens to check that against, so I didn't change it. --Sntint 12:28, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Planet Terry?

[edit]

What the heck was that? I had almost all the Marvel UK run and recognise all the other back up strips but I don't remember that one at all.86.31.251.98 09:44, 29 October 2010 (EDT)

Planet Terry originated as part of Marvel's Star Comics line of children's comics from the mid 1980's. Think "Richie Rich in space" for an idea of the look and tone. Now, if you are asking when it was printed in the UK comic, I have no idea. --Khajidha 09:49, 29 October 2010 (EDT)

I just wanna congratulate whoever wrote this article's introduction. You really nailed Smilin' Stan's voice.--Filby (talk) 20:09, 12 August 2020 (EDT)

Oh man, same here. Reading that intro made me smile. ThatGuy79 (talk) 12:46, 9 March 2023 (EST)
