Can we get "Convoy Council" to redirect back to "Maximal Elders" since they're the same thing? Maybe do that for "Trypticon Council" and "Tripredacus Council" if we ever make articles for them, too? --DrSpengler 04:37, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Is he head of the Maximal Elders, or is he head of the High Council? Are these distinct entities? (I'd always assuemd they were...) -Derik 05:29, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, the Convoy Council and the Maximal Elders would appear to be the same thing, and Great Convoy is always shown in the forefront of the Convoy Council (he lead the strike against Unicron in Neo). Not sure how the US interpretation of the High Council relates to Japan's Convoy Council, though. Lio Convoy and Big Convoy are shown to be a part of the High Council in The Gathering, though they're most-certainly well-beneath the rank of Great Convoy and the Convoys shown with him in Neo. I guess I'll leave that up to you since I'll likelynevr be able to read those. So then, once this comic comes out and if it conflicts with Japanese continuity, would it be a good idea to retitle this article "Convoy Council" and just keep the two seperate? Or should there just be two sections (US and Japanese) as "Convoy Counsil" was their name for "Maximal Elders"? Well, technically, we already have a non-Convoy Council Maximal Elders already, in the Universe books. There, the Maximal Elders consist of Magnaboss, Airhammer (I think), and some other BW guys. So what the "Maximal Elders" consist of is already splintered. --ItsWalky 05:55, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Those werent' the Maximal elders. Thwy were 'The High Council.' (Not identified as Maximal or Pred.) We dont' knwo if theyr'e pre-existant authority, a reformed council post-BM, if they're suppsoed ot be just Maximals or some sort of joint authoity (They were all known Maximals-- except one generic based on Neo whatsisname, the snake.
