There are so many problems with this page, it's hard to tell where to start fixing. --M Sipher 22:19, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

As LV has mentioned elsewhere, there's nothing to indicate that Megadeath is a Pretender. He noted that later UK letters pages stated, when asked, that Thunderwing's appearance as a Pretender was an error. Don't have an issue number to reference, though. --ItsWalky 22:51, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

I removed the "Pretenders" category, as fan speculation isn't fact and whoevever added that category knows that. I can kind of understand the speculation, as Thunderwing does appear in his shell, but a letter column explicitly called that an error. Even without knowing that, there was no justification for the category. Chip 22:54, 14 January 2007 (UTC) I am somewhat terrified by the endless stream of commented-out text in this article. Yeah, sorry about the commented-out notes here- I still have couple sub-article in process I needed to save them for. They'll disappear after that.
As for the pretender thing- thanks, I didn't know that! Good thing wikis are collaborative. Was Longtooth an error too? -Derik 23:38, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

..uh... why is he "prose only" AND "comic only"? -hx 01:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

That's a problem with the definitions we haven't really sorted out yet, I think. He's a comic-continuity exclusive character, so someone listed him as a Comic-only character (or so I'm guessing), but he's exclusive to a text story. They really shouldn't be both there. We should more clearly define these terms. --ItsWalky 01:28, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Then where'd the picture come from? I guess it came with the story? I'd call him comic-only, since he only appeared in the comics, as oppoed to only appearing in a separate work of prose. -hx 02:15, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
If he only appears in a text story, then I think he's a prose-only character, even if there was a few illustrations to go with the text. You can't tell me Puddles isn't a prose-only character because his noggin was on the cover of the book. --ItsWalky 05:37, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Psst. Puddles is Luann's dog. And yes, Longtooth's shell was acknowledged as an error. -LV 07:51, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Ah, thanks.
And Hooper- we had this out a couple months ago on prose-story characters with illos. They go in prose-only. (Hey, I was on the same side as you) -Derik 15:08, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
