Talk:Megatron (G1)/merchandise

Who makes this costume? The webpage says it's "Officially licensed", but i'm not sure how to confirm that and i can't easily find information on who makes it. Also not sure where it would go on the wiki page, since i'm not sure when the costume was first made.

Combiners

[edit]

This page, as well as Megatron (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity and Megatron (G1)/2005 IDW continuity (but not any other pages for G1 Megatron) are in Category:Combiners. ...Why? --flicky1991 18:07, 5 October 2017 (EDT)

Ooh. (Although the Megatron-Ratchet thing isn't what I'd think of as a combiner...)
I guess we need Megatron (G1)/toys in that category too because of the limited test market release Generation 2 toy that combines with Starscream. I'll add it. Thanks! --flicky1991 01:18, 6 October 2017 (EDT)

Additional ReAction figures

[edit]

There have been a number of redecos of the Super7 ReAction Megatron figure that have not been listed yet. I would put them in the main article myself, but I don't have enough info on releases (e.g. dates, exclusive retailers), so I'm hoping someone can take care of that? Here are the variants:

  • Chrome Commander Megatron - A redeco based on the original G1 toy, with metallic silver paint on his chest, arms, and upper legs, and additional toy-inspired detailing such as the squiggles on the chest.
  • CyberChrome Megatron - A variation of the original release where the light gray parts are painted in metallic silver.
  • Megatron MC-12 - A redeco inspired by the black version of the Micro Change Gun Robo, primarily in black with brown and blue accents.
  • Golden Lagoon Megatron - Cast in gold-colored plastic, with the only paint application being a black outline of his Decepticon symbol.

Neca Head Knockers (bobble head) from 2002

[edit]

Not seeing this item in the merchandise list. (Not to be confused with 2009 Wacky Wobblers.) Is this an omission? Might be missing from Optimus Prime merch page too.
