Talk:Nervous bot
Japanese
[edit]Can you actually articulate your reasoning? Because right now you're making the article imply "nervous bot" was an American invention and that the Japanese name is a transliteration of an English name when neither are true at all. This segregation makes no sense and we already have articles for American characters who have gotten names after the fact in Japanese media (Nancy, Sweep No. 4, Rickel) with their names formatted appropriately and notes explaining their origins. - Maybe if you didn't edit explanatory notes out because you think they're "unnecessary", this wouldn't be a problem. Escargon (talk) 13:50, 22 November 2019 (EST)
- What's the relevance of your obsession with me here? If you have a problem with particular edits, nobody's stopping you from disputing them on the relevant talk pages. Saix (talk) 13:57, 22 November 2019 (EST)
I do not follow. When there is no official designation in English, what is wrong with titling this page by the Japanese-given designation, using said name in the first sentence, and putting an explanatory note at the bottom as is the case with "Nancy"? - Nancy's an actual name/designation. This is just a descriptor. Escargon (talk) 14:21, 22 November 2019 (EST)
- Ah, so you argue along the lines of the ad hoc title "arrogant Autobot officer" over the designation "Autobot soldier" that was official? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 14:25, 22 November 2019 (EST)
