Can we truly consider that series in continuity? I mean, Ironman would most certainly not ignored the Autobot, once the registration law was voted. And even if we assume the events in devastion had taken a different direction in the pant of time where the registration law wouldn't have passed, those events in question couldn't have been ignored by the other superheroes.

This raise question anyway.--81.241.201.131 21:09, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think this wiki needs to concern itself on whether this crossover really works with Marvel 616. This isn't the Marvel 616 wiki. The only thing we should be concerned with is how it fits into IDW Transformers. --ItsWalky 21:13, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
-As I think I've pointed out somewhere else, it can't even be Marvel 616, because Doctor Doom was dead-in-hell at the time the story occurs, and Carol Danvers wasn't using the codename or costume seen in the series.- Chris McFeely 21:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
-Well, I am raising a point about that too: Why do the super heroes from Marvel do nothing during devastation?--81.241.201.131 21:41, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
That kind of thing isn't something exclusive to this. Why did nobody but the X-Men do anything about Xorn-affected-by-the-Scarlet-Witch-to-disguise-as-Magneto-disguised-as-Xorn when he attacked New York? Why did nobody in other titles note Asgard above New York City? Comic books have selective continuity. Just the way it is. —Interrobang 21:46, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
This is probably the most autistic thing I've done ,but XabtSwtdMdaX as you call him was said to send he other teams off on a "wild goose chase." This ends my almost seven year reply

As far as I know, Marvel confirmed any TF crossovers are AU, because the Tf war is too big an event, and would have a major effect on the main marvelverse(some encyclopedia or something confirmed it). in continuity with Tf, I don't see how? There's really no time for it to work, and Ramjet's spotlight seems to take place during Escalation(all flashs to Megs are Escalation events). Plus, it's kinda hard to believe, AHM can occur and the super hero types didn't feature. Add the fact TF isn't really that hero friendly a series...I've the feeling Ramjet's SP was intended to boot this miniseries out of the continuity. Just my opinion though User_Talk:GWolfv2

616 universe is blown up in their new event "Secret Wars" now. IDW TF universe still exists, so this crossover is of course not canon to 616.--Primestar3 (talk) 15:15, 28 July 2015 (EDT)

Crossoververse or not?

[edit]

The Marvel Handbook may say it exist, but for all I know, it says nothing about Transformers or IDW. Does anybody actually have anything from the handbook that says so? Cause otherwise, I don't buy into this Crossoververse thing. Escargon (talk) 20:08, 11 December 2015 (EST)

They're citing "a Marvel Handbook" but won't say which one so it can be verified. I think that's all we'd need. I frankly doubt there's such a reference. Chip (talk) 06:48, 12 December 2015 (EST)
According to Marvel Database, this comic series does take place in the Crossover Verse, Earth-7642. Of course, this universe contains all kinds of characters from many other franchises, including DC Comics. That doesn't gel very well with the main IDW05 timeline, so if this is taken as fact, then this would have to be a universe that is adjacent to the IDW05 continuity, not the main one. I don't know whether or not this warrants any mention on the main page, though. I know this is a pretty old conversation, but it seemed worth bringing up. Having since gotten all the Marvel Handbooks, no, all the Handbook says is that the Amazing Spider-Man and Superman story takes place on that Earth, and the Marvel Database is not an official source. So no. Escargon (talk) 13:32, 29 September 2022 (EDT)
