Please try to avoid vague, non-descript filenames such as 'Hun-grr.jpg' or 'Seacons.jpg' when you upload files, because they are so generic-sounding. At the very least the filename should imply what the image contains/what story is it from, or where it's from, or (in the case of guys like the Seacons who belong to different continuities), what continuity the story/characters in the image is from. Thanks. --FFN 17:06, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Dude, "Spgc2.jpg" is a useless filename. --FFN 19:47, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Judging by how your edits to the Beast Wars Megatron accidentally wiped out the last quarter of the page, I think your web browser is one of those that can't handle editing pages over 32kb in length. So, you might want to change browsers. JW 23:11, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
You have been asked repeatedly to sign your posts. The instructions are at the top of every Editing Talk page. If you wonder why some of your recent posts to Talk pages have been deleted, it's in part because you didn't sign them.
The Talk:Main Page page is only for discussion of what should appear on the main page itself.
If you want a forum, click on Community portal in the left sidebar, then click on discussion at the top. That's our forum for sitewide discussions.
But please, start signing your posts. JW 23:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Don´t edit pages just to mention that i misspelled something in Edit Summary. Also,do not remove important information to replace it with redundancy. I know Truely has an l, my keyboard is just crappy. Decepticon Rhinox 20:49, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
There's a format for the disambig pages. I changed it to match the format. Plus, I'm a smartarse, and the summary on your edit made me feel like ya might want to come down to earth a bit. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GWolfv2 (talk • contribs){{#if:22:17, 6 May 2008| 22:17, 6 May 2008|}}.
I might recommend against being a smartarse on this wiki. And as always, please sign your posts. JW 00:45, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, smartarsery is the nutter way ;). And yeah, I should apologise for forgetting to do that. Still finding my feet with the way things work round here I'm afraid.User:GWolfv2
"I should apologise for forgetting to do that." Making an effort counts for a lot, thank you. May I ask why your sig doesn't show the time and date? Are you signing with four tildes, like this? ~~~~ Including the time and date makes it much easier to track discussions, and to determine if a comment was made an hour ago, or last year. JW 13:39, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Again, feet, finding, mot too bright. And I'll do that from now on. thanks for the advice.User:GWolfv2 16.05 7 May 2008 (GMT)
Hi, when one upload comic images, one should credit the artists involved, and at the very least include a link to indicate where the panel comes from. This is how we generally credit comic uploads. Thanks. --FFN 14:25, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
Please don't put spoilers in your edit comments. I happened to see your "Fistful" note in Recent changes, and I haven't seen the episode yet. I know I take a risk by even hanging around the wiki when a new episode comes out, but seriously. - Jackpot 00:43, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I can't really think of any spoilers I put in. Also, if you wanted to see the episode first, why did you check Recent Changes. It's always risky, spoiler wiseUser:GWolfv2 01.50 May 25th (UTC)
Here's the spoilerific comment: "The EG took him on board the ship and headed back home." It's not the worst spoiler possible, since I don't know who the "him" is, but I can take a guess. Most importantly, it's just plain bad form to talk about plot points in an un-spoiler-protected environment if you can avoid it. And, yes, Recent Changes is by nature a dangerous place for spoiler-avoidance, but we should still be aware of not making the situation WORSE. Certain additions are almost impossible to spoiler-protect; image uploads, for instance, show all of their associated text in the comment field (and their titles are often revealing, too). But edit-comments are discretionary to begin with, so there's really no excuse for not keeping them spoiler-free. - Jackpot 01:09, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
That was referring to Mission Acomplished. And the Spoiler warnings generally relate to the most recent info, with the assumption that you've at least got info on the other eps before reading. There were no spoilers for Fistful there, just commenting on the fact the end of MA seemed fairly concrete to me, whereas M Sipher considered it ambiguous. You would have gotten nothing from that except there's a connection between the eps User:GWolfv2
Ah, okay, out of context, that looked like it had to do with "Fistful." Sorry for jumping on you there. And, yeah, I agree that new episodes are spoilery only until the next episode comes out. - Jackpot 01:38, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I'll expect an apologetic ham sir! ;)User:GWolfv2 (Lets just say late) (UTC)
Hey dude, you think you could maybe hold off on creating articles about things whose very existence constitutes a pretty major spoiler until at least a few days after the relevant episode airs? Not everybody sits down to watch the show the instant it hits the air. -- Repowers 05:04, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
The Skywarp toy was announced a while back. I hadn't a clue he was gonna show up in the show until after I saw the Dubai screenshots, which was a while after I made the article. User:GWolfv2 16.23 May 25th
I'm referring to [[Starscream Clones]] (which, by the by, should be moved to Starscream clone. ) -- Repowers 16:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Ah. Never actually thought of that...ho hummUser:GWolfv2 18.00 May 35th
He's not a guest, as the comments define that as "one appearance only". "Recurring" is a bit unhelpful as a header, and is in contradiction to how all the others are ordered, especially since most of the Decepticons don't have that many more appearances than him. What we know of the character is that
He's considered a Decepticon
He's from Cybertron, or at least, he's not Earth-based like the main cast
He's considered a "Bounty Hunter" (which is treated as a group, if not a cohesive one)
He's a secondary cast member
Since he's already categorized as a Decepticon, it's logical to define him by one of these or the other. In the next few episodes, we're going to get a good bit more Cybertronians without any other sub-group (like Ironhide), so it could make sense to categorize it as that. Or, since our "Main Cast" isn't really a sub-group either, we could have a "Secondary Cast" section. Or "Bounty Hunter", since that's a sub-group he's been put into (and it would definitely be a faction, not a personality quirk - Prowl is to Ninja as Lockdown is to Frankenstein's monster, not bounty hunter. It's his job, not his character). Since you don't seem to like "Cybertronian Decepticon" (though I think we'll have to add it soon for Autobots as well), or "Bounty Hunter", would you at least agree on "Secondary Cast"?KrytenKoro 01:34, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Secondary makes sense to meUser:GWolfv2 18.52 May 29th
On a side note, are you going to come back to the DMC wiki anytime soon?KrytenKoro 07:02, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
I might. But I'm not too fond of the current style there atm. I check in a lot...still, it's kinda behind in info, so I might have a look see User:GWolfv2 18.50 May 29th
Would you mind explaining what you dislike about the style? I'd really like to fix any problems people are having with it.KrytenKoro 07:21, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
For the purpose of a source, I'm more in favour of approaching it from a fiction point of view, rather then the gameplay view the DMC wiki has. For instance, fictionally, Dante hardly ever transforms and when he does he's arguably stronger then Sparda. But the DTs and such just refer to the gameplay elements. Also, needs a timeline artcile, tracing the continuity from pre games, through the manga, the four games and the anime, in order of continuity of course. It's really just a personal preference in the end of the day User:GWolfv2
Okay, I'll work on a timeline article. I'm not sure what you're talking about with the first one, though, since the claim from DMC4 that Dante is stronger has been included on both Dante and Sparda's page.KrytenKoro 17:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

It shouldn't take 3-4 separate tries to get a single quote or link working right. Just preview the results first, modify until you get it just right, THEN save changes.--Apcog 00:01, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
