Question. I didn't really watch any of the Energon toon. Whats up with the Omnicons? Are all the Omnicons of this body-type all named Offshoot? Do they all have roughly this personality? I'm just trying to get a handle on how they handle the multiple copy issue in a character sense. --ZacWilliam 14:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, Offshot wasn't in the show, but for everyone who was (Strongarm, Skyblast and Signal Flare) it's as you say - they've all got the same name, and they're indistinguishable from each other in terms of personality, but it's not that they're clones of each other, or anything. They just all "evolved" the same way through the power of energon, and their indistinguishableness owes more to the fact that they all have exactly the same non-personality. - McFeely, not signed in

I think the best comparison is that they're kind of like Pokemon/Digimon: there are, for example, dozens of Skyblast, all called Skyblast, but they are not all the same Skyblast. (Whether or not anyone can tell them apart or if they can tell themselves apart was never addressed on the show, AFAIK, but I missed some episodes near the end.) --Monzo 22:44, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

If I recall correctly, they only ever referred to each other by name if there's only one representative of that Omnicon type present. --FFN 09:35, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
