Khajidha, the term doesn't exist in the Japanese cartoon's continuity. Subtitles aren't part of the cartoon's fictional world. They're only a technical feature on the real world DVDs. It's not like the characters are walking around with a bunch of words popping up out of nowhere in the open space around their waistlines. It's a visual medium used to convey information to the audience, not a physical aspect of the cartoon's fictional world. What the character actually says matters more than what the subs "claim" he's saying, or do you also subscribe to Chōkon Power being energon too? --Sabrblade 12:38, 16 May 2013 (EDT)

So what they're actually saying doesn't matter to you at all? Then you've got quite an extensive task of rewriting every single Japanese cartoon article on this Wiki to conform to the standards of Shout! Factory's subtitles ahead of you. :P

As for the phrasing, take away the subtitles and the cartoon's world is the same, with Sixshot calling himself the "Decepticon Dinobase Ninja Staff Officer" either way. The subtitles not reflecting that would confuse those who don't understand the Japanese dialogue into thinking that what their saying is accurate, when it really isn't. Noting that the term doesn't really exist in the cartoon is informative on the (in)accuracy of the subtitles. --Sabrblade 13:02, 16 May 2013 (EDT)

Once a new language is added, whether spoken or written, what that new language says is what actually is when that language is used.
