Move?

[edit]

Should this maybe be at "The Fecund Moon"?--RosicrucianTalk 14:04, 29 May 2013 (EDT)

I believe it's at this title for now, 'cause the title's an end-of-issue spoilery one, to avoid spoilers in the Recent Changes. Jalaguy 14:30, 29 May 2013 (EDT)
What Jalaguy said, but ultimately it should be "Remain in Light 1 of 5: The Fecund Moon". There's no "Part" in the title, but the rest IS part of the title. - SanityOrMadness 15:46, 29 May 2013 (EDT)

Ransack

[edit]

I'm thinking it's either noteworthy, an error or a retcon that Ransack appears to have left Cybertron since RID #3, right? The Decepticons there haven't been shown to be able to get offworld have they? --Emvee 17:45, 30 May 2013 (EDT)

I agree at the very least it's Noteworthy. Phantom 20:12, 3 June 2013 (EDT)

"Knock-Offs"

[edit]

Is this... you know... a slur? It seems like one in context. Or at least a horribly outdated and now kind of inappropriate term, like "Orientals" or "Negroes" -hx 09:48, 31 May 2013 (EDT)

The "4m years ago/thinks he's being progressive" line suggests the latter, I think. (Which makes you wonder exactly how horrendous the prevailing terminology WAS if that was the *preferred* term for a notable time!) - SanityOrMadness 10:37, 31 May 2013 (EDT)
They prefer "third-party"; it makes them sound more legitimate. -LV 10:40, 31 May 2013 (EDT)

Note on M.A.A.B.s or M.A.R.B.s

[edit]

The term "British" encompasses England, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Ireland. So using the term "British accent" presents some problems in terms of accuracy.

More to the point though, joke doesn't work in Scottish and Irish varieties of English which don't soften or drop 'r' sounds after a vowel. And since James Roberts speaks with an English accent I figured it was best to clarify that point.

(There are parts of England whose regional accents don't drop or soften the 'r' after a vowel, though as far as I know it's found in most English accents and Roberts definitely does that when he speaks.)

((God that sounds pedantic...but I figured I might as well leave a note up if people were puzzled over the change.))

Why didn't brainstorm and perceptor die?

[edit]

Why didn't Brainstorm and Perceptor die after exposure to the point one percent spark like those 2 miners did with Overlord's spark? --MistaTee (talk) 18:31, 15 April 2020 (EDT)

I suppose they didn't get hit by the "first flash" that is mentioned in the Overlord birth scene when the spark is born. --Nu-Priest (talk) 19:10, 15 April 2020 (EDT)
Should it be listed as a possible error? --MistaTee (talk) 21:09, 15 April 2020 (EDT)
Looking at both scenes in question... nah. The miners who found Overlord's spark were right next to a surge of energy that it emitted when they uncovered it, the so-called "first flash". Brainstorm and Perceptor just find the green spark in the ground and probably weren't nearby when it was exposed. --Nu-Priest (talk) 13:06, 16 April 2020 (EDT)
Good analysis. Thanks. --MistaTee (talk) 14:27, 16 April 2020 (EDT)
