She ain't Japanese

[edit]

She may have first shown up in the Generations book, but that wasn't what she was created for. If you go by the logic saying she is a Japanese original, then so is Animated Motormaster. So stop saying she is. Monty Prime 00:43, 4 June 2011 (EDT)

It's not exactly 100% applicable. Motormaster had already been revealed on the Botcon web page by this time; as such, he was already confirmed as a Botcon character. However, Sari's presence on something drawn by Derrick Wyatt with a Botcon character he also designed may well indicate she was planned for inclusion in the Botcon litho at that time. And her actual name and fiction weren't definitively established until the bio in the Botcon lithograph, for that matter. General Tekno 00:48, 4 June 2011 (EDT)
Oh, hey! The Generations book isn't even out yet. Oops. I was going by the text in the article where it said she was created for the Generations book. - Starfield 00:53, 4 June 2011 (EDT)

Fanon to Canon

[edit]

Mayhap we should make a note that this is almost entirely Wyatt canonizing the fanon that grew up on Formspring around the character?--RosicrucianTalk 14:15, 4 June 2011 (EDT)

It's not, by any stretch of the imagination. Much of the Formspring silliness might have been influenced by him, but he wasn't canonizing fanon. This has been his vision for the character for some time. --Devastator 14:28, 4 June 2011 (EDT)
Well, there was some input to her bio by her player on Formspring, but not so much that I'd say this is canonized fanon. Monty Prime 14:35, 4 June 2011 (EDT)
