Is Sea Spray supposed to be a RotF movie figure? I can't tell from his box.

He is part of the Adjectiveless Transformers line for the second half of this year. --ItsWalky 11:08, 4 March 2010

Movie Universe?

[edit]

I've been wondering. Are the characters mentioned in Sea Spray's bio specifically placed in the ROTF universe? They are repaints of movie figures, but that really doesn't mean anything since Hasbro regularly repaints figures from one universe to fit in another. If nobody's bio actually places them in the ROTF line, then I would argue that we can place Sea Spray under the G1 heading like with Hound and Sandstorm. Riddlerj 11:32, 3 November 2010 (EDT)

Yes - Crankstart has appeared in the UK movieverse comics. - RolonBolon 17:14, 4 November 2010 (EDT)

In addition to my rant about Sea Spray I also noticed his Autobot symbol doesn't have the angry eyes most movie characters do. --Ninjabot33 07:29, 23 January 2011 (EST)

Neither is Brimstone's sigil a Movie one in design, yet he's still firmly placed in the Movie universes. Likewise, I do believe we've had a G1 character or two sport the "Movie" sigil. The style of the sigil has no bearing upon a character's continuity of origin. --Detour 07:33, 23 January 2011 (EST)

Okay, ever since Unite for the Universe, Sea Spray's defenitely a movie guy. But going from what the Hasbro Q&A thing said, I think the toy might be good also going into G1 Seaspray's page as well (similar to the Lockdown/Lockdown repurposing). --Ninjabot33 12:13, 20 March 2011 (EDT)

I agree with this interpretation of Sea Spray. Poor guy, he cannot get any breaks in continuity. Also his redeco is in Reveal the Shield and *might* be a G1 character. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Burningsirius (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

C Joints

[edit]

So, I managed to get Sea Spray just today, and lo and behold, the silver ladder rungs on his shoulders are actually C Joints! They're placed pretty close together, though. --CelticNinja 21:38, 26 March 2011 (EDT)
