Page Move

[edit]

I cam recommending moving this page to Sector Seven (game) since the spelled-out version appears to be it's formal name, eeven thought he number is frequently used for abbreviation.

I'm making this a formal move discussion because-- dude-- there's LOTS of links involved. -Derik 19:06, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Video of other NBE's

[edit]

This might be innapropriate, but how do you access these, in particular, Grimlock's?KrytenKoro 01:25, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Go to sectorseven.org. Use the password "deceptibot." Click the red hard drive on the side of the screen. The videos are in there. --KilMichaelMcC 01:34, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

How do you get to starscreams? [[184.56.18.164 17:00, 30 August 2011 (EDT)]]

Interesting end result...

[edit]

The RC you with the last code (deceptibots) has 5 Klingon pIqaD characters along the bottom. Individually, left to right, they are "gh", "ng", "t", "ch" and "a" (using a handy-dandy pIqaD to alphabet converter). Blurt it out, and you get... "GOTCHA"! Neat ending...

(If you don't get it... Klingon, pIqaD, etc are part of Star Trek, which is owned by Paramount...)

Canon?

[edit]

So is this canon, meaning the movie is canonically in-universe fictional? - Starfield 21:47, 18 May 2009 (EDT)

What kind of question is this? If it weren't canon, it wouldn't have originated from an official website and be on this wiki in such great detail. --ItsWalky 22:04, 18 May 2009 (EDT)
What I mean is, technically there are two live-action continuities: the "real" continuity and the "disinformation" continuity. I never thought about it before on what that would mean if we really took that seriously. The live-action film never actually happened, even from a fictional context. It is merely disinformation. - Starfield 07:37, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
The logical conclusion is that both the "real" and "disinformation" continuities are equally "real." In one dimension of the multiverse, the movie is part of a disinformation campaign, but in another it is reality. --KilMichaelMcC 18:15, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
The IDW comics exist within the ARC continuity... as a comic for the disinformation campaiign. Those passwords didn't just show up in the trailers and comics-- they were inserted intot he PR campairn for the big line by Agent X in order to lead people to the truth.
And Rise of the Chevy Autobots is its own continuity-- and nice job forgetting that the Titan comic (which unlike the IDW comic has been running continuously since the first movie came out) exists in your little "does this mean there are TWO continuities" list. -Derik 19:08, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
I didn't forget. I was carelessly speaking generally. Even if Chevy Autobots and the Titan alternate universe were never positively identified as part of Hungry Dragon 2 they can't exactly be trusted, since we know Sector Seven has a active disinformation campaign, so I consider them part of the disinformation universe. - Starfield 19:21, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

"Ghosts of Yesterday"

[edit]

I find the inclusion of "Ghosts of Yesterday" as a "component" of the ARG to be highly dubious. --KilMichaelMcC 23:28, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

Actually, "highly dubious" isn't strong enough. I find it completely absurd. The novel was published as tie-in to the movie itself, just like the novelization, all the comic books, etc. How is it part of the ARG? Do we have any reason to think Alan Dean Foster even knew the ARG existed when he wrote the thing? --KilMichaelMcC 23:34, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Hey, Derik (or anyone else), do you have a counter argument? I actually would be interested in hearing it. I know the ARG referenced "Ghosts," but I just don't see how that makes it a "component" akin to the main website, the Buzznet group, etc. --KilMichaelMcC 13:23, 20 May 2009 (EDT)

ROTF viral marketing websites

[edit]

What do you think, are the actual websites, GiantEffingRobots.com and The Real Effing Deal part of the main live-action film continuity or they part of the Sector Seven Game continuity? I know they appear in fiction, but those fictional appearances might be part of the misinformation campaign. The way the websites are set up, you are supposed to see them as "real." - Starfield 13:32, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

I know that post is old but actually its both.--Primestar3 (talk) 17:05, 20 July 2015 (EDT)

Quadwal

[edit]

Digging up old bones here, but given our new info on the nature of the first Multiverse. Would this count as a Quadwal or Tyran Universal Stream? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lush City (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.

It would be Tyran because it takes place in a universe where Transformers exist. --abates 02:59, 9 January 2012 (EST)
