Talk:Seeker (Movie)

I am... really uncertain this is a distinct concept from Seeker (ROTF). If anything, they suffer from not being in the context of each other, to say nothing of the fact that the term you're describing here was introduced in the interregnum between the first movie and the second, and that Mowry wrote both Reign of Starscream and Defiance.--RosicrucianTalk 15:00, 7 June 2009 (EDT)
- Jetfire-type seekers are pretty well defined. They go looking for suns to harvest and such. I don't think Starscream and Thundercracker are those type of seekers. But I've been burned jumping to conclusions about the movie lately. Sure Mowry wrote both, but I imagine after he wrote RoS, he could have found out that there are Seekers of a different kind in the film that he had to introduce. - Starfield 16:40, 7 June 2009 (EDT)
- If ROTF Seeker and Movie Seeker are the same thing, wouldn't that make Starscream one of the first Transformers? That seems a little..unlikely considering how decrepit Jetfire is, but I guess anything's possible. -Mazenoise 17:35, 7 June 2009 (EDT)
- They're not "both from Mowry". ROTF-Seekers are from Orci/Kurtzman/Bay for the actual film, and as such Mowry was obliged to work them into his movie prequel. The RoS-Seekers, he did off his own back as Ye Olde Fanwanke [and one suspects that he probably wouldn't have done so had he known then what he knew by the time he wrote Defiance.] - SanityOrMadness 20:15, 7 June 2009 (EDT)
Bumblebee Seekers
[edit]By any chance, could we make some pages for Movieverse Seekers introduced in Bumblebee (i.e. Sunstorm, Acid Storm, Hotlink, etc.)? We could sort them under "Nameless Unconfirmed" because their color schemes are based off G1 Seekers despite going unnamed in the film itself.--NexusShard17 12:50, 16 January 2019 (EDT)
