Toy Picture Caption
[edit]For the picture of toy Sixshot and his alt forms, I just get a kick out of the caption with the seven weapons and the pope, but I don't know where the quote is from. Can anyone tell me where the quote is from? ThanksAutobotFreak643 02:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC) P.S. I got an original 1987 Sixshot at Botcon today and he's one heck of an awesome figure!
- (since an anon member has already replied to AutobotFreak643 about this question, this response is largely for the benefit of other users so they don't think we ignore talk pages). Its from the Monty Python second series sketch, The Spanish Inquisition, from the episode of the same title. --FFN 13:39, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Sappo
[edit]I've wondered for a while where this name COMES from. It's used in the Headmasters episode summary list that's been around since apes forged the Internet from bone, but in the episode itself, the guy's name is ABEL. Well, that's how the R2 DVD set interpreted it, anyway - in Japanese, Chromedome comes out with what sounds like "Aberu," and that seems reasonable to me. Even in the StarTV dub, he's "Abello." Where the frig did "Sappo" come from? - Chris McFeely 18:52, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Aaand I see Abel actually has a page already. - Chris McFeely 18:53, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I couldn't remember the dude's name off the top of my head, so I used one of those ancient scrolls containing Japanese Episode guides written in 1995 BC. I won't be doing *that* again. --DrSpengler 19:21, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Depiction in Spotlight: Metroplex
[edit]Notes on this page and the one for Spotlight: Metroplex mention a change in Sixshot's personality. There was discussion on the matter over on IDW's message board, and the general consensus was that his portrayal was consistent with how he acted in Devastation. That is, while he's brooding when he's on his own, he gets a lot more talkative while he's out on missions. He toyed with Ratchet and bragged about his abilities while fighting the main Autobot force, which didn't seem all that different from his encounter with the Throttlebots. - Cattleprod 19:35, 6 August 2009 (EDT)
Shot Action
[edit]Is it a bad idea to create an article for Sixshot's technique Shot Action?--Metroplex 10:18, 31 July 2011 (EDT)
- We have articles for specific weapons, since those fall under technology. I could see named martial arts techniques as being article-worthy (like the Five Servos of Doom), but I don't about Anime Namecall Attacks per se. There are a lot of those, and a bunch of them boil down to "shoot the gun which I am holding"... I'm open for discussion on it, though. --Monzo 11:57, 31 July 2011 (EDT)
- If it's anything similar to Rokuhenka, I guess it could warrant an article. —Interrobang 13:37, 31 July 2011 (EDT)
- We have Chōryūken and Rokuhenka, and I think even the techniques Monzo mentioned are eligible for an article. Just, those are better off being incorporated in the relevant weapon article (like slingshot (weapon) dealing with Wheelie's Wheelie Pachinko) and I figure some techniques are better off being covered on the character pages. It depends on what you can make out of it whether it's worth an own page. Geewunling 13:39, 31 July 2011 (EDT)

Encore?
[edit]Are we sure that the 2012 release is part of the Encore line? The box isn't like the other Encore boxes. See here. He's not listed under BigBadStoreStore's other Encore releases. He IS under Encore in TFSource though.--MistaTee 14:29, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
- Yeah, I'm thinking maybe he's not now. Just shove him back under G1, I think. He might even be a convention exclusive. - Chris McFeely 14:30, 19 July 2012 (EDT)
Japanese name?
[edit]There isn't one listed. I assume it's Sixshot, but I wouldn't add it without knowing for sure. --Flicky1991 13:16, 11 November 2012 (EST)
Out-of-place picture
[edit]So...why is there a screencap of Spike talking to Galvatron on Sixshot's page? Particularly when Sixshot is nowhere to be seen in said screencap (unless he's in one of the photos on the wall)? I'd remove it myself, but I'm afraid I'll cock up the formatting of the page or something. Bobpiecheese 04:35, 30 August 2013 (EDT)
- Galvatron is actually Sixshot in disguise, for reasons I can't recall right now, but which probably definitely make sense in the episode that screencap is from. --abates 05:25, 30 August 2013 (EDT)
- ...that's the second time today I thought I caught a mistake and it turns out I'm the idiot because I haven't experienced the media in question. And given how the description for that episode is right next to the picture, that makes me a double idiot. Oy...Bobpiecheese 06:08, 30 August 2013 (EDT)
- That is probably a good spot for an informative image caption. Funny captions are there to fill the void for self-explanatory images, which this one is not. - Starfield 09:58, 31 August 2013 (EDT)

Thirteen Great Demon General Status
[edit]The list of Bio Ranger Iga's Thirteen Great Demon Generals, shows a Sixshot who is brother to Shockwave, but the link leads here and not to Energon Sixshot (OK, technically Six Shot) who is actually confirmed as a brother to Shockwave. Is the Ask Vector Prime source confirmed to refer to a particular Sixshot or was G1 Sixshot assumed to be subject due to the parsing of the name alone? Wasp-shot23 (talk) 13:56, 28 June 2015 (EDT)
- It's assumed, I think, since there's the ninja connection to G1 Sixshot. Maybe put a note on the Vector Prime entry on this page/a note on Six Shot's page/a note on the Thirteen Generals page/all of the above, to note that it's seemingly an amalgamation of the two? Generations figure
[edit]Leader class or Voyager class? Entry is contradictory and I don't know which to change.--Khajidha (talk) 10:36, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
