Talk:Solitarium
Capital Idea
[edit]Capitalization seems to be uncertain for this item. Half the article has it as "solitarium" in mid-sentence, the other half as "Solitarium". Barring evidence to support either stance, I'd default it to uncapitalized, but I wanted to make sure first.--Apcog 14:58, 19 August 2009 (EDT)
- I used "Solitarium" when I expanded the fiction section because that's how it was written in the issue/episode articles. They could of course be wrong, what with Japanese not having capital letters and all. --Apoc 15:23, 19 August 2009 (EDT)
- Mostly, I'm just looking for consistency, and the simplest method would seem to be capitalizing it if it's already capitalized in the issue/episode articles. If wiki policy changes that later, we can have Deceptitran work on it.--Apcog 11:56, 20 August 2009 (EDT)
- "Energon" varies between a proper noun and an improper one, but we tend to favor "proper."
- Based on that I'd tentatively peg Solitarium as a proper noun, barring any capitalization Japan may have established. -Derik 13:43, 20 August 2009 (EDT)

- I certainly never have. Unless it starts a sentence, I always type any reference to the element/energy source "energon" all in lower case, and I decapitalize any capitalized reference to same. --Apcog 14:35, 20 August 2009 (EDT)
