IDW incarnation of this fellow is stated to be G1 Soundwave. Apparently first became an entertainer, then inexplicably joined the crew of the Axalon. Should we merge?--Rosicrucian^Talk 01:24, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Having read the Sourcebook, that's not how I interpret it at all. It says he fought in the Great Wars...and that's it. It doesn't say anything about telepathy, communications, shooting animals out of his chest, nothin'. There's no mention at all of anything G1 Soundwavey. - RolonBolon 01:49, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

"Soundwave" could just be a new name he adopted on Earth to go along with his beast modes, and not what he was named during the war, right? I also don't see how a Decepticon could possibly end up in a Maximal stasis pod. --KilMichaelMcC 01:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

When I type "Beast Wars Mutants Soundwave GPS" into Google, I first get this page saying he's notable for having GPS and secondly a video of him crumbling in a reviewer's hands. --ItsWalky (talk) 17:26, 6 April 2015 (EDT)
