SDCC Soundwave
[edit]I saw mention of a reissue Soundwave that was an exclusive available at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con. It came with Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage, and Ratbat. It looks like an offical hasbro product. Can we list it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 147.140.233.16 (talk • contribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
- Sure, I'm just surprised we don't already have an entry on it. -Mazenoise 16:37, 17 July 2009 (EDT)
Didn't Hasbro specifically say it was NOT the Soundblaster mold? And havn't we seen pictures that confirm this? --76.28.72.27 20:51, 17 July 2009 (EDT)

[edit]Not sure if we should toss this or not. --Monzo 22:00, 2 August 2009 (EDT)

Generations Soundwave
[edit]Apparently it's popping up that Cybertron Soundwave will be in the 2010 Generations line. I don't want to screw up somebody's hard work, and I don't know what we need to sources we need and photos (if any) required, but let's get that sucker added! :) 129.116.80.237 17:02, 3 May 2010 (EDT)[anon] 17:00, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
- We don't know for sure yet that "War for Cybertron" toys are in the Generation 1 continuity family. --ItsWalky 17:03, 3 May 2010 (EDT)
- The deluxe WFC Soundwave toy is listed here because IDW repurposed it. Should the Voyager FOC toy be listed here too?Riddlerj 19:46, 29 December 2012 (EST)
Working cassette player?
[edit]According to two (much older) friends of mine who had G1 Soundwave as kids, and the Transformers Ultimate Guide book (which, I'll admit, was quite wrong on one or more occassions), the original Soundwave toy was a real working tape deck, much like Perceptor's status as a fully funtional (pathetic and little more than a magnifying glass) microscope. This does not appear to be noted anywhere on the article, so I question the truth of the matter. If it is true, however, I think it should be noted. - ¡Usa El Queso! - There was a working tape deck sold that looked like Soundwave's robot mode, but it didn't transform and wasn't the actual Soundwave toy. Blaster's Microchange toy had a fake microcassette that made him into a "working" radio, but that didn't make it here either. Your friends' claims are spurious. -LV 17:30, 25 September 2011 (EDT)
- I will exchange nasty words with these friends (not really). Thanks for the info! - ¡Usa El Queso! Complain here 17:37, 25 September 2011 (EDT)
SDCC tablet?
[edit]Where should we categorize this one? It isn't officially named "Xiaomi-brand" (let alone the.... whatever... of a grouping title we are using now). The package seems to have no subline imprint at all. It's just "Transformers." Should we dump him in G1? --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 16:48, 9 August 2016 (EDT)
- Apparently that IS the name for this toy on the HTS listing, though still not on the box. Whaddyaknow. --Thylacine 2000 (talk) 18:15, 9 August 2016 (EDT)
G2 Laser Cycle
[edit]This page calls it a Honda Goldwing. Road Pig's page calls the same mold a Harley Davidson Electra Glide. Which is more accurate? --Xaaron (talk) 10:01, 18 July 2017 (EDT)
Kingdom Soundwave
[edit]Does any Hasbro promotional material or anything declare his altmode to be a boombox? Because it's definitely not one, but it's described as one here. -Dan
Pre-order shipped early?
[edit]https://youtu.be/riSHy-rCQXg?si=vIz0alAoSlfs8XJS Emgo somehow got his hands on one. Is it alright to post info on the contents now?Poliwag06 (talk) 05:23, 21 November 2023 (EST)
Mysterious label
[edit]So I found 2 go Joe collaborative soundwaves which have the GM licensing inexplicably on them (and name dropping Camaro and Corvette). The thunder machine looks nothing like either, why this is there idk, but is it on all the packaging?Poliwag06 (talk) 22:06, 11 March 2024 (EDT)
