I would like to see a picture of the damage this gimmick causes to toys. A firecon, by preference. -Derik 19:14, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Oogh. I'd love to oblige, but I don't own any of these...I have seen this damage on non-TF sparking toys, but that doesn't exactly help, I guess. --Autobus Prime 19:16, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Let us not forget that it only managed to set the child's hair on fire in combination with frikkin' hairspray, which makes it equivalent to inspecting vats of gasoline while smoking a cigarette. Takeshi357 16:12, 19 May 2013 (EDT)

Repair/replacement?

[edit]

So it's just a flint-steel striker like you'd find in a Zippo, yeah? Would it be possible to disassemble a Monsterbot/Firecon/etc. and put a new flint in? I don't have any handy to attempt it. Hooper_X 23:03, 6 June 2009 (EDT)

I wonder if there's room inside any of the toys for a small container of paraffin. Or space to drill a hole for a metal hose. This article would benefit greatly from a photograph of a Transformer - Slag, for example - shooting a six-foot jet of real flame from his mouth. The internet as a whole would benefit greatly. It would be difficult and dangerous, but the first man to achieve this will be famous. -Ashley Pomeroy 14:53, 13 August 2009 (EDT)

Dino Sparkers

[edit]

Do the AOE Dino Sparkers have such a gimmick? What with not having one (plus having no interest in getting any), and the whole Barbie underwear fire thing, I'm utterly confused either way. Pirateblue (talk) 10:44, 21 May 2014 (EDT)
