When exactly does this take place timeline wise? -- SFH 02:50, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- His shooting (and thus Beachcomber's capture and implantation with the cerebro-shell) happened just after Thunderwing was defeated, but prior to the abandonment of Cybertron. Other than that I see nothing hard and fast to tie his return and the discovery of Beachcomber to the timeline.--RosicrucianTalk 02:55, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the narration says it's happening "now", presumably during Devastation. Silverbolt being in charge of the Hub instead of Prime backs that up. On the other hand, Blaster's cameo in Stormbringer #1 disrupts that version of the timeline. In that case, Blaster's Spotlight will have to have occurred prior to the Stormbringer series, and Silverbolt was merely on duty while Prime was taking "downtime" or involved in some other, unnamed series of events off the Hub. --Xaaron 03:28, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- On his blog in this comment, Furman explains away Blaster's appearance in Stormbringer #1 as being "Bluster", his twin brother. (Yet another relative for Blaster if taken as canon) Take that as you will in regards to the spotlight's timeline. Silverbolt in charge of the Hub and Nightbeat presumably onboard Ark-32 seem to place this around Devastation in my opinion.--Derrax 04:10, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

- Wow. Blaster has a large family. -- SFH 04:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
Character appearances
[edit]Is that a miscoloured vehicle mode Tantrum in the bottom right of Page 12?
- Given the presence of Trypticon, and the colouring, I assumed it was Brunt. But that's probably just wishful thinking. Jeep! 21:58, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Who's this guy standing with Huffer? He shows up a couple pages after Trypticon and the Predacons, but they're the last characters numbered on the list. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 04:35, 23 July 2020 (EDT)
- I kinda vaguely remember from IDW's original forum thread for the issue that Josh said he was just a generic and named him "Sunbrow" or something like that. You'd have to track down the thread though, if it is even still archived for confirmation. --Nu-Priest (talk) 06:39, 23 July 2020 (EDT)
- I'm surprised nobody made a page for him at the time like we often do for unique generics, especially ones with unofficial names. Unfortunately, Google seems to be failing me with respect to finding an archived copy of the post for verification. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 16:38, 24 July 2020 (EDT)
- Yeah, those forums are long gone. You might try shooting a line to Josh Burcham or even Simon Furman or Emiliano Santalucia to see if anything is mentioned in the script. Like I said, I only have the vague memory of Josh posting that he chose the color scheme and name for the guy. I also remember it came about because we were debating if it was somehow Sentinel Prime still alive at the time. --Nu-Priest (talk) 17:37, 24 July 2020 (EDT)
