steeljaw never appeared in TF? Wasn't he in Space Pirates? -Derik 00:45, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
And the survey says... Derik is correct! http://www.seibertron.com/database/character.php?char_id=165&view=appearances

Kiss Players

[edit]

"Steeljaw is described as a 'smell fetishist' who obsesses over scents whenever he is not on duty. Teletraan 10 is creeped out that his favorite scent is young women, and threatens to reveal his vulnerability to rusting."

Has that been canonically confirmed? Because if so, it's creepy even by Kiss Players standards.--TVsGrady 17:32, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

It's in the Teletraan Go! Go! comic from Dengeki Hobby. Not sure how much more canonical you need it to be...
I should note, though, that the T-10 notes in those comics usually relate to something from the character's bio and tech specs, so it's very likely something that was stated officially at some point. --Swift 01:24, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

From his TFU profile...

When he's not busy stalking Decepticons, he's likely to turn his attention to any scent that comes his way - the spoor of a mouse, the stench of a garbage truck, even the perfume of a young woman. This often results in a frightening surprise for his unsuspecting quarry. Steeljaw usually doesn't mean any harm on these occasions - he just likes his work so much that it's also his hobby.

Sticker Issue

[edit]

I notice Steeljaw's cassette image stickers have a lion's mane image. Not only does it look odd (therefore noteworthy) to have animal details on the cassete label, it seems the mane is printed on the wrong side (it is on Steeljaw's backside instead of around his neck). I notice this on my Encore release and my SDCC release, and it seems every vintage example I see (via Siebertron.com and tfu.info) have the same example. Is this worth mentioning in the notes section?
