Talk:The Autobot Run
Shockwave was made interm Decepticon leader in MTMTE pt.1 back on cybertron, so he shouldn't have been here, period. Or do I have the wrong series?
- It's called an animation error, sir! G1 had lots of them. --ItsWalky 00:22, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Joe theme commercial bumper
[edit]The "G.I. Joe" theme music during the commercial bumper was also present in the original broadcast version of the episode
What's the source for this? I don't remember this ever happening back in the day. -- Repowers 00:56, 14 November 2009 (EST)
- I'm the source. I distinctly remember noticing this mistake way back in the day and may even have an original broadcast version on tape lying around somewhere. Unfortunately, you'll need to find a functioning Betamax VCR to play it... Lunar Archivist 22:23, 20 February 2010 (EST)
- In case there were still any doubts, I'm corroborating. My memory on this is crystal clear, and so is the memory of my reaction: I laughed my head off. JoseBxR (talk) 03:16, 28 April 2023 (EDT)
Re: Chip rising in his chair, is it worth mentioning that we don't actually know why he's in the chair? (Some people who use wheelchairs can stand or walk, though not well or not for long periods.) Or is that too much like speculation? I've been corrected for that before, so I want to be sure before I go around editing anything. --MissRatbat 02:30, 3 December 2010 (EST)
- Of course that's worth mentioning. The current text almost seems to imply that Chip's ability to stand up in his wheelchair means he's not really disabled, which holy shit is that an assholish thing to suggest. People can be wheelchair users without being paralyzed, but that doesn't mean that don't still have a disability. --KilMichaelMcC 10:48, 3 December 2010 (EST)
- Okie-doke. (And I see now we both edited the same point into the article after seeing this - sorry if it seemed I wasn't paying attention! :o --MissRatbat 01:30, 4 December 2010 (EST)
Transfixatron vs. Devastator
[edit]It occurs to me that maybe the Transfixatron's function was poorly conveyed. The dialog suggests it just traps Transformers in whatever mode they're in at the time, but note that every single victim is stuck in vehicle mode. And then it breaks up Devastator at the end. I wonder if the writers' intent was that it specifically traps Transformers in vehicle mode, regardless of what mode they were in before, and they just failed to communicate that. --Andrusi 11:43, 29 May 2012 (EDT)
