I just want to throw out there as a possible explanation for the continuity error. Maybe when it refers to "newer, more advanced Transformers" it is referring to new bodies for old Decepticons, and not brand new troops with no Creation Matrix to give them life. - Gimmick (talk) 11:35, 1 November 2015 (EST)
