Hypno(-)Chips

[edit]

As part of editing the three "Ultimate Doom" episodes, I brought their "hypnochip" spelling in line with the more frequently used "hypno-chip" elsewhere in the wiki. However, at the very end of Part 2, we see a screen in Decepticon HQ reading "HYPNO CHIP CONTROL", parsing the name as two words, no hyphen. Of course, this could be an error. Someone with script access could check that resource so we can be reasonably accurate, especially for whenever an article is set up for that piece of tech.--Apcog 07:47, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

I dunno. I think what makes it to the screen should have precedence over what the script says. —Interrobang 08:34, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm bearing in mind the fact that Japanese animators, not always familiar with the nuances of English, animated those sequences. Thus, I say the script has precedence.--Apcog 08:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Well and- if the script says the same thing the 'toon says (a 50% chance) then you can avoid this whole argument abotu precedence and source it correctly! -Derik 12:14, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, yes. I just don't anticipate it being that simple. It'd be nice and convenient, which is why I doubt it'll happen...--Apcog 04:24, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Audio Disrupter Waves

[edit]

Is there a source for that spelling? The other pages that reference them use "disruptor". --Greenygal 15:03, 30 August 2009 (EDT)

Not an error.

[edit]

I found this in the Continuity Errors section: "* This is the one and only time we ever see Thundercracker shoot a stream of fire, which was clearly done just so the winds could blow it aside. If he'd fired his usual lasers, the wind would have been no problem. " In point of fact TC previously did this in "S.O.S. Dinobots", so it is hardly an error.
