Talk:Tow-Line (RID)
Moved discussion from Talk:Wrecker Hook
[edit]IMO, there should be some mention that RiD towline was also named Wrecker hook. With Robotmasters timeline-warping premise and WH's amnesia, it's not impossible he actually IS CR Wreckerhook, in some form.
Random question: I've got a video of RM 'episode 2.' (Lioconvy's debut,) anyone know where I can find the others? Also, is there someplace online w/ translations of the RM comics? I'm sorely behind on my RM continuity. -Derik 18:19, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
...why am I being so passive-agressive? I'll do it 'mself.
IF Wreckerhook is Tow-line then he's not Japenses exclusive either. X-BoB58 23:23, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
And the premise that he IS is nothing but conjecture based on a very limp bio. Until actual, you know, FACTS and CANON say otherwise, he's Japan-only. --M Sipher 23:43, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Merge with Tow-Line
[edit]As per Hydra's post at the Allspark, it seems Robotmasters Wrecker Hook being the same as Car Robots Wrecker Hook is the general assumption in Japan. Mimi 22:43, 2 August 2013 (EDT)
- That would make sense. In Japan, he's from the same continuity family, with the same mould and the same name. If that happened with an American toy, we would assume it was the same character unless something explicitly contradicted that. --flicky1991 02:37, 3 August 2013 (EDT)
- We may wanna wait until "Metro War" comes out to give us a better grasp on an answer before we potentially jump the gun by moving it now. --Sabrblade 09:37, 3 August 2013 (EDT)
- I think you overestimate the role Wrecker Hook has in a comic meant to focus on Metroplex. The Decpticon Wrecker Hook is a traitor. There is an Autobot Wrecker Hook in the same continuity with the same body. The connection there is more apparent than, say, lots of Sidewayses being the same guy. The fact that the Wrecker Hooks are the same guy is what led to his appearance in the comic. It's not that the comic is likely going to provide insight into the situation. - I'm just saying that, if we're to get something a bit more concrete (either from the comic or from the creators), it's likely to happen closer to when the comic comes out than with what we have at the moment, at which point such a move would seem much more opportune than it does now. --Sabrblade 01:43, 4 August 2013 (EDT)

Sipher, if your justification for keeping the pages separate is continuity families, then what about Fortress Maximus/Brave Maximus? Mimi 06:57, 28 August 2013 (EDT)
