Talk:Transformers: Alternity
Megatron and Convoy
[edit]Considering the fiction, shouldn't Alternity Convoy and Megatron have their own character pages Eire 16.25 4 July 09 (UTC)
- Considering the fiction, Alternity Convoy IS G1 Prime, but having been given an Alternity body. So I don't understand your suggestion. --ItsWalky 11:59, 4 July 2009 (EDT)
- And we don't know about Megatron (either coloration) until we get his bio translated.--RosicrucianTalk 12:36, 4 July 2009 (EDT)
Red & Silver Convoy
[edit]Which one is from the Binaltch timeline, and which timeline is the other one from? This stuff is so confusing. --Crockalley 21:51, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
- Silver is from the Binaltech timestream. Red is "our" Convoy. --ItsWalky 22:00, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
- Am I correct in thinking that the Binaltech evolved into Alternity, then Alternity Convoy (Silver) went to 2009 and recruited Binlatech-timeline Optimus Prime (Red Alternity)? So, he went back in time and recruited himself? -Crockalley 23:24, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
- No. The Optimus Prime that got recruited in From Here to Alternity was a normal semi-cab G1 Optimus Prime, to my knowledge. The universal stream indicators are different as well.--RosicrucianTalk 23:34, 25 October 2009 (EDT)
- Oh, I see. Red Alternity Prime is from Primax 109.0 Beta (which is a random G1 universe with no connection to any previous G1 universes we are familiar with) and silver Prime is from Primax 903.0 Beta (Binaltech offshoot of G1 'toon). Correct? -Crockalley 07:10, 26 October 2009 (EDT)

Transmetal Callback?
[edit]I'm looking at the "technical scan" on the flipside of Alternity Convoy's instructions, and it seems to be set up very similarly to the few Transmetal box back specs, including use of the control drawing and distinctive color gradient. Anyone know if this was done on purpose or just coincidental?--MCRG Again 18:24, 10 January 2010 (EST)
- When it comes to Alternity, my default position is "assume its deliberate" until informed otherwise. - Chris McFeely 18:26, 10 January 2010 (EST)
Comparisons to Binaltech
[edit]I don't have any in hand, so I can't do this myself, but I think it might be a good idea to make comparisons to Binaltech/Alternators outside of the size on this page. Stuff like interiors are obvious from images, but things like steerable wheels, engine/trunk interiors, stuff like that. I might pick up an Alternity soon to check myself if possible. --Leia G (talk) 12:28, 2 October 2025 (EDT)
