I think we should put some sources for the character roster. I could get started on it, if that's necessary. I hadn't heard about Metroplex being in it, only from rumors that Matt Tieger said it somewhere. --Kaymac192 17:07, 26 October 2011 (EDT)

It's in this month's Game Informer.192.249.47.196 17:17, 26 October 2011 (EDT)
Ah. Well, I'll try to get started on the sourcing, and any help would be appreciated. :D --Kaymac192 17:30, 26 October 2011 (EDT)

Blast-Off

[edit]

About 1:10 in to the trailer to the top right corner of Megatron there in a Decepticon that looks like a space shuttle does that confirmed blast-off--Wwelord 16:20, 17 December 2011 (EST)

There are so many Blast Offs across the fiction (including a goshdarn tank!) that we have no way of knowing who or what it really is. (Astrotrain, Sky Lynx, etc). Tom Servo the Great 16:23, 17 December 2011 (EST)

You dont have to be rude I was just asking a question and by the way why would it be Sky Lynx.--Wwelord 16:32, 17 December 2011 (EST)

How was I rude? And it's just as possible that it could be Sky Lynx. Tom Servo the Great 16:40, 17 December 2011 (EST)

Name one Autobot in WFC/FOC with purple lightings Sky Lynx is an AUTOBOT with RED lightings and that shuttle was shown at lest 5 sec bruticus was formed and that shuttles design can be seen on his left arm--Wwelord 16:48, 17 December 2011 (EST)

OK, OK. I was just trying to make a point. No need to start capslockjawing on me. Anyways, the thing is is that we don't know it's Blast Off for sure, because we've had no official confirmation on it. Tom Servo the Great 16:57, 17 December 2011 (EST)

Thank you thats all I wanted to know.--Wwelord 17:01, 17 December 2011 (EST)

Yay!

[edit]

You guys are great for getting everything organized. :) Also, where was it mentioned that Arcee would be in the game? I'm removing it until we can get some sourcing. I'm also pretty sure Matt Tieger said there would be no females. --Kaymac192 12:02, 29 December 2011 (EST)

Dinobots - FOC or Prime disambiguation

[edit]

The Dinobots were mentioned in Grimlock's Hall of Fame bio, so their existence predates Fall of Cybertron - there's a link to "Dinobot (Prime)" on the Lightning Strike Coalition. Is that mention enough to override the FOC parenthetical or should we amend the LSC link? --abates 21:26, 26 January 2012 (EST)

Jazz voice

[edit]

I think John DiMaggio was confirmed to voice Jazz in Fall of Cybertron. Plus we heard his voice a while back, it sounds a lot like him.

PC

[edit]

Attention, the facebook page of Fall Of Cybertron has officially announced that Fall Of Cybertron would be on PC, and be released at the same dates as the other two platforms. --SnipinScientist 1 June 2012 WARPATH I'm just happy that my favorite character warpath is in the game. AND can somebody update the pape and give it new info!?!?!

In addition to Jazz, Troy Baker is voicing Jetfire and Kickback

In addition to Cliffjumper, Nolan North is voicing Brawl and Bruticus

In addition to Megatron and Ratchet, Fred Tatasciore is voicing Metroplex

Thanks, I've added the new ones. --NCZ 22:34, 13 June 2012 (EDT)

You forgot to add Swindle's and Brawl's voice actors

Funny reference

[edit]

At one part of a preview, Kickback gets a door knocked on top of him and Snarl comes out and murmurs "excuse me" at him, referring to the old movie. lobythelegend 22:10, 30 June 2012 (EDT)

Missing characters

[edit]

I noticed that Silverbolt and Sideswipe are missing from the character list even though Silverbolt was in the first gameplay video and Sideswipe has his chassis in multiplayer.

We've also seen Hound's chassis in multiplayer, but I don't think it's enough to add them to characters.

Well, Silverbolt was in campaign gameplay so we should at least add him.

I think we should add Quake to the Decepticon list. During a Comic-Con demo, you saw his name alongside Warpath, Megatron, Perceptor, and the like on an MP customization screen of armor presets.

Yeah, we should add Quake and Ultra Magnus, 'cause we saw Magnus in the Gamestop preorder commercial, behind Hound. --Gurrengelion 01:21, 31 July 2012 (EDT)

The demo confirms Drag Strip and Quake. --Gurrengelion 06:00, 1 August 2012 (EDT)

Sideswipe is also seen flying Jazz and Cliffjumper to the dinobots last known location here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxhbFnele1A --Ovidkid 17:36, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

If Ultra Magnus and Dragstrip are in the characters list,Demolishor,Scatter Shot,Dead End and Breakdown should be too

Megatron Spoiler

[edit]

SPOILER ALERTIn the Demo of Fall of Cybertron the level with Vortex an audio file pickup (The Second to last one) contains Optimus talking about Megatron being "pulverised". Should we include it or not until the game is released?Bumblebee2000 00:13, 12 August 2012 (EDT) P.S Just practicing links.

Vortex

[edit]

Has Vortex's voice actor confirmed yet? SirSpoonwave 20:50, 19 August 2012 (EDT)

Frenzy

[edit]

Frenzy IS in the game. In Chaper X "The Final Countdown", he is inside the room with Soundwave and other Decepticons. He is beating up an Autobot next to Rumble.

I'm not adding this myself in case if I mess up something up, so could someone please do it?----XxxOUTBURSTxxx 19:11, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

He's also running on one of the conveyors in the background of Soundwave's lab. I don't know what our spoiler policy is for FOC, which is why I haven't added any of that. -LV 19:37, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

Uneditable Pages

[edit]

After finishing the campaign for the fifth time,I noticed that preceptor transforms into a microscope when you talk to him about rerouting energon to the guns. And also about how the Path plaster (Prime's weapon of choice) highly resembles Prime's gun in Transformers Prime The Animated Series. But the thing is I can't edit the Optimus page, and I also cant do screencaps. ExplodingEggs 2.00

A list of Transformers Prime references?

[edit]

All of the regular editors here know FOC is part of the Aligned continuity, however, as we noted on our War For Cybertron page a couple of years ago, the layman who stumbles onto this page probably wouldn't (no thanks to High Moon Studios often roundabout statements to video game websites about the continuity and G1). I think we should include some of the stuff from the Aligned continuity/Prime that they've put into game, such Cliffjumper's head, Trypticon's fate/the Nemesis, and HMS's comment at BotCon 2012 where they said Optimus Prime's default weapon was designed to look like an early version of his rifle in the Prime TV show (which I don't believe is mentioned anywhere on this wiki). Well, there should be at least ONE article on the internet about this game that makes it clear it isn't a prequel to the G1 cartoon (again, no thanks to High Moon Studios). --FFN 18:15, 13 September 2012 (EDT)

  • sees additions to article* Thanks. --FFN 07:55, 19 September 2012 (EDT)

Loading Screen Tips

[edit]

Do you guys usually put things like a list of the loading screen tips on a game's page? The Grimlock Prime 20:09, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

No. -- spyderUse this! 20:24, 20 September 2012 (EDT)
It would be neat to see them collected somewhere, but I don't think the wiki is the place for that. --ItsWalky 20:33, 20 September 2012 (EDT)
Which reminds me, where did that quote about Grimlock wearing a bow tie come from? --Zycrow 21:53, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

Chapter 9

[edit]

I can't have been the only person, who after completing the Soundwave portion of the level thought it could be described as:

"Soundwave has reused some of Megatron's parts, along with some other new parts, and has reconstructed another Megatron, and renamed him New Megatron!" --71.231.8.210 02:25, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

Optimus Prime / Megatron pre-fight correct quote

[edit]

In the page, the quote is "This universe, no matter how vast, will never be big enough for the both of us.". The correct quote in the game is "This universe, no matter how vast, will never be big enough for you and I to coexist!". Small thing, but it's a quote and it should be as it's voiced in-game.

Constructions

[edit]

If you talk to Brawl in the first Megatron mission, he mentions that the Constructions built the Starscream statues. Could someone add that.

RID 2015 and the new continuity

[edit]

Since Adam Beechen has identified 2015 RID Grimlock as a separate character from FOC Grimlock, <ref>Grimlock might be a common name among Dinos. But ours is one of a kind!</ref> and now we have it listed on the Aligned continuity family page that there's a new continuity of just the cartoons (if I am interpreting it correctly), I was going to edit the Notes section where it discusses the unknown fates of characters at the end of the game. Going by the fact that no further material has been told in this timeline besides the interquel Rise of the Dark Spark, I think it might be safe to say that the entire cast is in limbo since both ships were last seen getting sucked into the wormhole. But that brings me to the Rage of the Dinobots and Beast Hunters comics that were released late 2012-2013 if I remember correctly. Since the latter has the Prime cast appear, that would place the two comic series in the cartoon continuity, right?

I know it's all a mess and I'm sorry for tearing it open, but I did feel like we needed to update the outdated information. Here's what I had so far, though it's definitely work in progress and will be reworked as best as possible to not sound so much like a list.

  • In 2015, Robots in Disguise series producer Adam Beechen clarified that the Grimlock featured in that series was a separate character from the Grimlock seen in this game.<ref>Grimlock might be a common name among Dinos. But ours is one of a kind!</ref> Furthermore, Robots in Disguise and Prime are now depicted as being their own continuity separate from the High Moon video games. This leaves numerous characters unaccounted for by the end of the game since no further fiction has been told post-Fall of Cybertron.
    • Bruticus is last seen being blasted off the Ark into space. Grimlock is not seen again after destroying Shockwave's tower, with the scientist, his pets Hardshell and Kickback, and the other Dinobots also unaccounted for. Starscream is never seen again after being thrashed around by Grimlock. Sideswipe, Perceptor, Warpath, and Cliffjumper are never seen aboard the Ark, though they at least could easily be off-screen since at least Cliffjumper was seen ushering Autobots into the Ark alongside Jazz, who later present during the battle. And to go for broke, both ships at the end are sucked into the wormhole, leaving, well, pretty much everyone unaccounted for at the moment.

Do I have the right idea going here? Wanted to check in before editing it on the main page. --Chopperface (talk) 09:58, 30 August 2016 (EDT)

Just because RID pays no heed to the games doesn't mean they're magically retconned into having no connection to Prime. Prime can be in continuity with multiple different things, just like the Beast Wars cartoon can be in continuity with multiple contradictory comic tie-in. Really, what needs to happen to that "character fates" section is being deleted - it's bizarre and pointless and not something the wiki does. It's not like there's a list on The Rebirth Part 3 listing every G1 cartoon character where we don't know what happened to them, y'know? Jalaguy (talk) 10:08, 30 August 2016 (EDT)
Cool! Honestly yeah I was wondering how necessary the section was. When I took another look at the page just now, I saw the section missing and thought I'd deleted it and forgot, thanks for the mini heart attack! But alright, awesome, thanks for weighing in on it! (*insert SG Ravage waving happily*) --Chopperface (talk) 10:29, 30 August 2016 (EDT)

Optimus Prime's rifle

[edit]

Optimus Prime's rifle design, which was described by High Moon Studios as being an earlier version of the rifles Optimus uses in the Prime television series.

Is there any proof about this? HispasatBot 27 February 2020

Concept Art-Beta/Unused/Cut Content

[edit]

I've been a big fan of TF for a while, and I've always loved cut content and stuff in video games. FoC has always held my interest as well, I've always wanted to make mods and stuff for it as well. Why do I mention this? Because I am a digital artist for game design, and I think I can help people understand somethings about the game, for example, Sludge being set up for skeletal deformation could because there is a moment in shockwave's lab where you can see him transform into his altmode. The skeletal deformation could've just been used for that in-game cutscene. Now as for cut content and why I am making this post. There is that "Art of TF FOC" art book. I've seen some scans of it, including the transport we have to stop for those 3 levels actually being Broadside! And I was wondering if it'd be okay to talk about that stuff in FoC's Trivia section?
