New Vehicons

[edit]

According to TFW2005's coverage of BotCon 2012, two types of Vehicon enemies' concept arts for the game were revealed: a Helicopter Vehicon and a Tank Vehicon. Should they get their own pages and be added to the list of Decepticons in the game, or do we wait until a more advanced stage of development to consider that they do exist? Rayqui 05:27, 30 April 2012 (EDT)

Probably just add Vehicons to the list of characters, and wait until later to do more. -- spyder 18:26, 30 April 2012 (EDT)
Wait, scratch that, it's only concept art, so wait until later in development. -- spyder 18:27, 30 April 2012 (EDT)

Parenthetical

[edit]

Purely to satisfy my own curiosity, if we get a game only character from this, what would the parenthetical for it be? -- spyder 23:02, 31 May 2012 (EDT)

As the game's part of the Prime franchise, it would be "(Prime)". --abates 23:20, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
That's what I thought; just wanted to make sure. -- spyder 22:04, 1 June 2012 (EDT)

a screenshot of the game

[edit]

This page needs a picture of the game in action. If you have one, please add it to this wiki. --User optimus 01:09, 5 September 2012 (EDT) user optimus

The game isn't out for another two months. --abates 02:20, 5 September 2012 (EDT)
We just got pics today, I can upload some of them. Where do you want me to put them? --ExplodingEggs 2.00 23:57, 13 September 2012
They're already on the character pages, so there's really no point anymore. -- spyderTalk 06:16, 14 September 2012 (EDT)
More pictures. Nintendo.com --User 71.68

Move

[edit]

As I said in the move template, the official website has the title written with a hyphen, not a colon. But, it's got over 50 pages linking to it, so it might take a while to get everything right again. -- spyderUse this! 06:55, 10 October 2012 (EDT)

Wikipedia has it with the hyphen, though they have it as "Transformers: Prime - The Game". There's leeway, I guess, because Hubworld consistently uses "Transformers Prime" with no colon either. --abates 21:04, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
Website just has Transformers Prime - The Game, with no colons at all. -- spyderUse this! 21:10, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
Yeah, that's why I mentioned that Hubworld writes it "Transformers Prime" for the cartoon, but we have our article at "Transformers: Prime (cartoon)". --abates 22:08, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
Oh, okay. I get it. -- spyderUse this! 22:46, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
I think you misunderstood me. I was agreeing about changing to using a hyphen, but I was raising the possibility of including a colon to make it consistent with the other Prime articles. I.E. renaming it "Transformers: Prime - The Game" like Wikipedia has done. --abates 23:18, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
Oh, okay, I understand you now. So should I go ahead and just move it? To "Transformers: Prime - The Game" I mean? -- spyderUse this! 18:01, 12 October 2012 (EDT)
Groovy, I'll update the navigation menu! --abates 18:35, 12 October 2012 (EDT)

Wii U

[edit]

For the characters only shown in the WiiU version, when should the |when= date be on the {{comingsoon}} template? October 30 or November 18? I have it as November 18 at the moment. -- spyderUse this! 06:57, 10 October 2012 (EDT)

The Game?

[edit]

I got the game yesterday for christmas and finished it within 5 hours and i noticed a couple of things.

1. Decepticons are only playable in multiplayer.

2. All the Decepticons died by the end of the game.

3. Smokecreen and Wheeljack are absent.

And what level do you play as a human?Transfan 1992 16:09, 26 December 2012 (EST)

Ok, the things you mentioned could go in the notes section. But I don't know what the level is, and anyway, you should be asking that at a TF forum, not here. -- spyderUse this! 16:13, 26 December 2012 (EST)

Endurability issue

[edit]

Ok, so in the game, the Autobots can survive atmospheric re-entry; but on the show, Smokescreen wasn't expected to survive falling from high in the sky (from jumping off the Nemesis), and the Vehicons definitely can't survive that.

Just thought I'd bring this up. -- User:Tahtorak0

Playable human

[edit]

I don't understand this bit: "This could be considered the first game to have a playable human, yet it most likely is Arcee"

What's it saying? The game most likely is Arcee? A playable human most likely is Arcee? --flicky1991 03:16, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

IIRC, there's a bit where you control Jack riding Arcee in bike mode, and the current text is a spectacularly badly worded way of saying it's unclear who the actual "player character" technically is. Jalaguy 07:13, 23 July 2013 (EDT)

Screenshots

[edit]

I recently got the Wii U version, and was wondering if y'all would like me to get better screen shots that what we currently have? The Wii U has an online gaming community called Miiverse, and players can take screen shots of whats currently on screen when they had pressed the Home button to access the menu to get too Miiverse.

To the right is the quality of images we can get from taking Miiverse screen shots. If you want, I can take newer screen shots of what we currently have, then upload new ones of those we don't yet have.

Would that be alright?
