So, to clear this up in advance: if someone introduced in this show has a name that we already have at (RID), do we use (RID 2001) and (RID 2015) like for the two Universe toylines? --flicky1991 14:04, 13 June 2014 (EDT)

Suggests CRID for Car Robots.KrytenKoro (talk) 14:27, 13 June 2014 (EDT)
Years is already established with the Universe lines and TF 2010/2014, so RID 2015 works fine for disambiguation. Mimi (talk) 14:55, 13 June 2014 (EDT)

Wouldn't Fixit be the minicon? His voice actor was listed as one of the four bots along with his design, so it would seem like a reasonable conclusion to assume he is.BlindmelonKen (talk) 20:06, 13 June 2014 (EDT)BlindmelonKen

However reasonable an assumption it may seem, it's still just that, an assumption. Why not just wait for it to be officially confirmed (or maybe even refuted)? --Nemesis Primal (talk) 16:25, 14 June 2014 (EDT)

if this is a sequel to Transformers: Prime isn't Peter Cullen the voice of Optimus Prime again? Chasemarc1701 (talk) 02:19, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

One would assume, but it hasn't been officially announced yet. --abates (talk) 02:40, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

New Trailer confirms Grimlock

[edit]

[1] Eeyup.Energizer (talk) 21:02, 7 October 2014 (EDT)

That fansite blurb names the dino as Grimlock, but the trailer itself doesn't. For all we know, that's some other guy that happens to turn into a T. rex. -Ookalf (talk) 22:33, 7 October 2014 (EDT)

Okay Hasbro has confirmed the the Dinobot is Grimlock, now please restore my edit.--Orionpaxg1 (talk) 07:32, 9 October 2014 (EDT)

Animal Decepticons?

[edit]

Is there a reason the Decepticons are animals? It is a trend or something?Transfan 1992 (talk) 00:02, 19 January 2015 (EST)

TEAM E from TF:Prime?

[edit]

A few issues with the Pilot, maybe someone can clear up.

1. This is a sequel to Transformers:Prime right? 2. Ratchet was left on Earth at the end of TF:P why is he not on Bee's team? 3. Where are Agent Fowler, Jack, Meko, and Raff? no way would the Bee from Prime just ignore Raff not after the end of Prime. 4. How much time passed on Earth? if it's been Decades then that answers #3 but Earth looks like it's the Earth of today. 5. how does Rescue Bots now fit into this as Optimus Prime is being seen in the previews as a T-Rex (yet he's dead in this show)?

Chasemarc1701 (talk) 02:45, 28 March 2015 (EDT)

Rescue Bots takes place prior to the end of Transformers Prime. Season 2 was said to take place early during season 2 of Prime, but we haven't had anything definite on season 3 of RB. As for RID, we don't know how far in the future it is after Prime, nor where the other characters are. Perhaps that will be answered later in the show. --abates (talk) 05:40, 28 March 2015 (EDT)

TF Adventure "second season"

[edit]

So yeah, Takara Tomy is following the 12/13 Episode rule.

The "second season" (starting from Episode 14) will be aired in Animax this September 20, and October 5th in Tokyo MX.

So, anyone wanna update the Adventure section? FigureGunplaFan (talk) 23:33, 7 October 2015 (EDT)

Cast list

[edit]

Considering how long the Decepticon list is getting (even without a certain somebody's obsessive additions), maybe it should be cut down to recurring voiced roles? Saix (talk) 18:55, 21 March 2016 (EDT)

Are you reffering to me?? And also, i wouldnt say so, they are all still charactors, and all of them have had/will have a relativly large roll in the series. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Junkheap117 (talkcontribs).
I agree, Saix. Given the sheer number of one-offs, would it perhaps be better to have a separate page listing every character to actually appear in the cartoon while the main cartoon page only lists major ones? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 20:35, 21 March 2016 (EDT)
It would probably be better to multi-column the Decepticon section, splitting it between Steeljaw's Pack (which we know will be expanding VERY shortly), aka "recurring Decepticons", and one-offs. Personally, I'm not sold on why we have the voice actors listed in these in the first place, for ANY of these series pages. --M Sipher (talk) 03:58, 22 March 2016 (EDT)

I feel like we should not be updating groupings on the cast list to reflect new episodes at least until the episodes in question play in the US. People are going to expect spoilers if they read an episode page, but not necessarily the main page for the cartoon, especially when it's linked prominently in our side menu. --abates (talk) 18:52, 30 March 2016 (EDT)

Good point. My consideration is that after the season is over, we can update it. I have like this knack of an idea with the table. Energizer (talk) 15:48, 25 April 2016 (EDT)

Although I myself have edited this list countless times how should it be done. No Main Team either Bot or Con is consistent with Prime, Windblade, and Ratchet leaving at the end of Season 2 and Steeljaw's pack changing who's a member and who's not it's hard to group all the characters into one team.

Notes

[edit]

Did Cartoon Network UK already air Decepticon Island? The notes section makes it sound as if they have already. Transfan 1992 (talk) 19:54, 13 April 2016 (EDT)

They will have done so in just a few days. - Chris McFeely (talk) 20:10, 13 April 2016 (EDT)
Ohhh. Transfan 1992 (talk) 20:26, 13 April 2016 (EDT)

character list

[edit]

Idk if you guys have noticed during all the commotion with the character listed, but a few key characters such as pseudo and vector prime have been removed despite their importance. Transfan 1992 (talk) 04:29, 9 May 2016 (EDT)

Cast list overhaul

[edit]

The cast is stupidly long and "order of arrest" is a nonsensical choice for the 'Con list. I propose paring it down to just recurring characters - sandbox here. Thoughts? Jalaguy (talk) 11:59, 25 September 2016 (EDT)

Perhaps we should order it with all the characters as before except for Decepticons we put Steeljaw's Pack and right Steeljaw's original pack, Decepticon Island Crew and put the original Decepticon Island group and the Mini-Cons, then we put a section for the Scavengers, a section for Starscream's group, a recurring section for guys like Bisk, Quillfire, Springload, etc who appear in more than one episode and then an others section for cons who aren't part of a group and only appear in one episode. i think your way works but it would be better to put every con just so poeople don't have to click on an episode a con appears on, click on the character's page just to see who voices them. i hope you take my opinion and if people do i'll try to make the list this way. AirjitzuRonin (talk)

I would have it in the way of how Rescue Bots' roster has. There problem solved.Energizer (talk) 20:54, 2 October 2016 (EDT)
We had it that way before and it was crazy how long the list was. The G1 cartoon doesn't even have a cast list on its page because it would be gargantuan, but people seem to manage OK with that. --abates (talk) 21:25, 2 October 2016 (EDT)

I just want all characters and their VAs to be onm the list in an orderly fashion. i don't care how. AirjitzuRonin (talk 20:59, 2 October 2016 (EDT)

I'm with Jalaguy, single appearance characters are not relevant to the show as a whole.--Khajidha (talk) 21:24, 2 October 2016 (EDT)
If we REALLY must need a hyper-comprehensive list of every character and VA in one place, then make it a sub-page linked to under the "Main Cast" chart. But I question how much that's needed. --M Sipher (talk) 22:11, 2 October 2016 (EDT)

Confirmation

[edit]

TFW2005 posted this today: Transformers: Robots In Disguise showrunner Adam Beechen confirmed (via Twitter) that the previously revealed 26 Episode Count for Season 03 (04?) is correct.

Additionally, Mr. Beechen stated that ‘Starscream Arc’ falls under Season 2.

So, would it be alright to merge 2 1/2 to season 2? NexusPrime (talk) 18:54, 1 May 2017 (EDT)

Beechen doesn't even say that, he says he "believes" that is the case. Seasons don't have 19 episodes, "Decepticon Island" is a clear season finale at the standard 13-episode production-unit mark, and the Starscream arc was promoted as "season 3" by the staff of the show at SDCC (and is even currently listed on Netflix and Cartoon Network's website under that name) because it was obviously produced as a separate 6-episode mini-series that wasn't considered part of season 2. They might've retroactively grouped it under that header, and I'm quite sure that if and when it's all released on a DVD box set it'll all be collected under the name of "season 2," but for us to just lump it in there is intellectually dishonest in regards to the nature of its production. - Chris McFeely (talk) 20:22, 1 May 2017 (EDT)
And it's officially Season 4, according to the latest, so... - TBR (talk) 18:01, 19 July 2017 (EDT)
This isn't new - there's been differing information on whether it's 3 or 4 all along. --abates (talk) 21:29, 19 July 2017 (EDT)
According to Mr. Beechen on his blog, "Internally, we treated the Starscream arc as Season 3, and the episodes that followed as Season 4. Hasbro decided to consider the Starscream arc as part of season 2, and the episodes that followed as season 3". I think merging the mini-series into Season 2 would be the most appropriate course of action, given that Hasbro official considers them one and the same. - Archforce (talk) 22:58, 19 August 2017 (EDT)

Fiction sections for the shorts

[edit]

Is there some reason why they're segregated from the main episodes in character articles? Saix (talk) 19:03, 23 July 2017 (EDT)

My guess is that we just don't really know where they're supposed to go between which Season 1 episodes, besides the vague notion of the six Cyclone shorts taking place anywhere between Episodes 17 and 25. --Sabrblade (talk) 00:56, 20 August 2017 (EDT)
Do we have any information on how they were broadcast? Cosmos1 (talk) 15:16, 24 September 2017 (EDT)
Online, on Hasbro.com and/or an official YouTube channel. --Sabrblade (talk) 19:39, 24 September 2017 (EDT)
