Talk:Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015 toyline)

I feel it's a bit hasty to assume that all the Generations toys in the Adventure line are going to be intended as Aligned guys? I imagine most non-combining Generations stuff is gonna wind up in that line this year... I'd advocate waiting till we have packaging/bios? Jalaguy (talk) 12:20, 14 February 2015 (EST)

I agree. It looks like Adventure is just Takara's grab bag line after Legends ends. Saix (talk) 12:24, 14 February 2015 (EST)

Tiny Titans

[edit]

With an explicitly named 'Beast Wars Megatron' revealed for Series 3 of Tiny Titans, it seems reasonably clear that these aren't all Aligned guys. Would anybody be opposed to my switching the G1-inspired figures to the G1 character pages? Jalaguy (talk) 07:20, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

I think it is safe to call Tiny Titans a multi-continuity line now, and yeah move the clearly G1 guys to G1 pages. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 11:04, 21 March 2015 (EDT)

TAV26 Override

[edit]

Should this be linked to Override (Prime)? Or is this a new character? --flicky1991 11:57, 19 April 2015 (EDT)

We don't know what the deal is with the Legends toys being released in Adventure. If the character is Aligned, then it'd be a new character based on G1 Override. Saix (talk) 12:13, 19 April 2015 (EDT)
Well, the Insecticons seem to be RIDiverse characters, assuming Lockdown is, and at this point, with RID, Animated, BH, AOE and G1-style molds all in Adventure, Id say the preponderance of evidence is probably on showing a given Adventure toy is not Aligned, whether they look like they should be or not. -LV (talk)
(That being said, I kiiiiiinda doubt it'll be that Override regardless.) -LV (talk) 14:51, 24 April 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, I changed them all to Aligned once the Insecticons were confirmed. Saix (talk) 19:05, 24 April 2015 (EDT)

Combiner Force

[edit]

Do we have any info at all on the Combiner Force sub-line imprint? I saw Optimus and Starscream Legion figures with the new packaging today. I bought Starscream, but the instructions and packaging don't really say anything about combining either as a feature or even a concept. --King Starscream (talk) 13:11, 15 December 2016 (EST)

The combiner sets are out now. I don't have the details on the release schedule, what sets there will be, or anything technical, but I got the Optimus/Strongarm two-pack. There was a Bumblebee/Sideswipe set at the store as well. The sets have two Legion sized characters that plug together and autotransform into a combined robot. One robot is the legs and the other is the torso and arms. Again, I don't know anything beyond what I've seen in stores so I'm not really qualified to update the page on the matter. --King Starscream (talk) 12:31, 3 January 2017 (EST)

Wave numbering

[edit]

Another case of stupid annoying "how do we do this" minutiae: The last RID Warriors.

Multiple international markets got a wave that includes Twinferno, Bludgeon and Thermidor from the get-go before any of these ever became available in the US.

Then Twinferno was found all by himself, and Entertainment Earth is labeling this "wave 12". This wave appears to be exclusive to the US.

The wave that was released internationally is now listed as "wave 13".

What takes precedent? The wave that was available pretty much everywhere (Asia, Canada, Australia, Europe) except for the US for months or the official US wave order?--Nevermore (talk) 06:52, 30 October 2017 (EDT)
