Talk:Transformers: Universe (comic)
Shouldn't Wreker's come before Universe?
This stuff doesn't belong on the 3H page, their comics should have their own page. It's not like there isn't lots of stuff about 3H to write an article about, although I'm certainly not the one to do it. --Suki Brits 07:24, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
Can an admin change this entry from "3H" to (for example) "3H (comics)"? Suki makes a fair point, but I don't see anything wrong with the article, per se. Just that it needs to be comics-specific.--G.B. Blackrock 18:33, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
I've been beaten to it, but for future reference, you don't need to be an admin to move an article. Just click on move on the top bar and put where you want to move the article to. --Suki Brits 19:23, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Seperate pages for each issue?
[edit]Is there a reason why there are not separate articles for each issue? Shouldn't this page look like The Gathering? That little box with links to each issue? --Crockalley 19:42, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- There should be, yes. --ItsWalky 21:22, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- We use names of stories as article titles (instead of "Issue #2" for example), is that correct? The Wreckers #1 has two stories: Departure and Primeval Dawn, Part 1. What would the name of the article be? This question applies to the other issues as well. --Crockalley 22:31, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
scans
[edit]Looking for scans of a few parts so I can figure out what the hell is going on. I haven't been able to find Primevil Dawn pt2, or Universe 2 and 3 (I've found scans labeled Universe 3, but they're actually Wreckers issue 3) anyone know where to look? --FortMax 22:43, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Why Another Comic?
[edit]I'm pretty sure that doing Universe was due entirely to Hasbro pressure. I seem to recall Glen almost had to beg Hasbro to let him try to finish Wreckers rather than just drop it then and there forever as they wanted him to. Walky or Graham would remember better than I. --M Sipher 02:08, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds correct. --ItsWalky 02:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
I'd just like to boast a little that the Finale was well-recieved. Okay, there was at least one guy so upset about Roddy that he vandalized my wiki page, but I thought that was hilarious. Really brightened my day. --M Sipher 15:04, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Primeval Dawn
[edit]Would anybody get too riled up if I split Primeval Dawn off onto its own set of pages? As-is, it feels kinda lost amid all the Wreckers stuff, and the individual Wreckers issue pages are pretty long already. PD makes them messy to boot. A note on each Wreckers issue can link to the Primeval Dawn segment published in that issue. -- Repowers 03:40, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
- Knock yerself out. --ItsWalky 03:46, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Continuity
[edit]Does the Universe/Wreckers and other convention comics fall under any umbrella continuity? I was informed that while this takes place after the Beast Machines cartoon continuity, as it contained elements of G2 (like the Beast Wars cartoon), it cannot be placed under the G1 cartoon continuity. So where do we put it? At the moment the Wreckers Universe comic sections are kind of floating vaugley around the modern G1 comics from Dreamwave and IDW. --FFN 03:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- It goes under the "Beast Era" heading, same as BW/BM. --Walky
- The same goes for dudes who never appeared in the Beast era before the Universe comics? Would this Beast era section go after all the other G1-era modern comics? Oh, ya should have just told me who you were while anon, David, I would have fixed it with less questioning :-P --FFN 04:17, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
- Beast Era should be placed after Marvel and G1 cartoon sections. ....possibly also after Dreamwave, since it also leads up into the Beast Era. But definitely before IDW and the Joe crossovers! --ItsWalky 04:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
